Purchased a custom cake for my 4 y.o daughters Birthday on Dec 16th, 2016. I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with the cake- it looked nothing like I ordered, cake was burnt, dry, overly sweet and there was barely any cake, only frosting. Called to voice my complaint about the cake, spoke with one of the employees who said she could not assist with that matter, she gave me an email address to contact the manager; however, when I tried to contact the manager at the email given to me [email protected] , IT IS INACTIVE. I also left a message on the site to be contacted , till now no response. I would not recommend this bakery to anyone for custom cakes. I am sure not going to purchase anything else from this bakery. Highly disappointed.

I recently visited Fresh Bakery. I went in for Red Velvet Cupcakes. I have never had a better red Velvet Cupcake or Cake anywhere. And I have tasted many. The creamy cream cheese frosting is literally the most amazing icing on any cake. While the Fresh Bakery employee was boxing my desired cupcakes I eyed slices of cakes, bread pudding and cheesecake. I asked the employee about their Hummingbird Cake. The employees description of this southern spice cake layered with the bakerys delicious cream cheese frosting sold me and will now be a favorite in the Kennedy household. Dont miss this life changing bakery when in the Baltimore/DC area.

This place is amazing! Im from St. Louis and every time I come to Baltimore I make my way to fresh bakery!! It never fails me! Everything is delicious, from the banana pudding, to the sweet potato pie, to the quiche, to the strawberry shortcake! Dont even get me started on the wonderful cupcakes and the beautiful and personalized cakes that they put so much thought and care into! There are seasonal cupcake flavors that are always amazing! The place is always clean and the service is always great!! Keep up the great work guys! P.s. I always order their quiche and sweet potato pie in bulk!!

I recently, ordered my daughters wedding cake (May 14th wedding), it was absolutely fabulous in taste and decorated beautifully. All the guests raved about it and wanted to know who made the cake. It definitely was one of the stars at the reception. Most importantly, my daughter absolutely "loved" the presentation and taste of the cake. Our hats off to the baker, decorator and entire staff at Fresh Bakery. Special thanks to Mary-Marie through out the entire process. Thanks again, for being part of and making this day special for us!!!!

Im not a big fan, the cupcakes are okay. I tried their famous Hummingbird cake and was extremely disappointed! The cake was dry, it had no pineapple or pecans in it (so is it really Hummingbird cake?) and the frosting had an overbearing orange flavor. And despite their website claiming everything is made from scratch, I did witness a supplier delivering 50lb bags of cake mix. When I make a boxed Betty Crocker cake, I don’t tell everyone that I made it from scratch... just saying.

I live in NY and this place is in MD. And when I tell you this bakery FAR EXCEEDS Make My Cake in Harlem, NY!!! I mean EVERYTHING is delicious! I had a custom order or 50 cupcakes with my daughters face on it and the guests went BANANAS! Carrot, German Chocolate, Coconut Blizzard and Pina Colada cupcakes were AMAZING! Even their.... Wait For It.... BANANA PUDDING CAKE was INSANE! Cant say enough good things because EVERYTHING WAS JUST SO GOOD!

Extremely disappointed in this "Bakery" who buys boxed cake mix in bulk to make their cupcakes. The only thing unique about them is that they are square. The cupcakes that arent sold that day are put in not so air tight plastic bins and stored overnight to be sold the next day as "fresh". The staff there is extremely talented tho (cake decorators especially).

OMG...Yes these are the best cupcakes I have ever tasted, and I have had some very good ones up until these. They made the cupcakes for my sons wedding this past Friday and the guest were still talking about them at church on Sunday. Hats off to Fresh Bakery - thank you so much for helping to make my son and his new bride day so special and tasty!

The cupcakes I bought yesterday tasted like there was a lot of salt in the batch. I bought a lot of different cupcakes and the salt was very prevalent in the taste of the cake. It seems as though there was not enough sugar. I will give them the fact that the cupcakes were moist but salty.

The best cupcakes I have ever had. I drive over an hour just to get them. They are definitely worth the price. The company is just wonderful overall from the owners and the customer service, to the ingredients within the pastries and their designs. I absolutely love them!

Everything Ive had here is amazing. My favorite used to be the banana pudding but they have strawberry shortcake and its out of this world. Theyre a little pricey but well worth it. The cupcakes are great too. Everything is sinfully good.

I had a cake designed for a 60th birthday party. The cake was beautiful and everyone thought it was perfect! It was so moist and delicious! The leftovers even stayed moist for over a week after the party! Ordering again soon.

A great place to get a good slice of cake without the work of baking and icing the cake yourself. Close to homemade and much better than grocery store cake. I recomend the Caramel Cake slice and Compost cookies!!

Nice creative cup-cake flavors. They stay moist even a day after. A bit pricey (~$3 per cupcake), so cannot make it a regular thing :(
