Im posting this for my wife: Our cake was absolutely gorgeous and so delicious! It was pearly white, silver, and fairy tale themed, and it looked exactly how I imagined it would! I left my crystal Cinderella coach and castle cake topper on the cake table at the reception venue, and SCC put it on top of my cake for me. It looked beautiful and definitely A+ for appearance. The taste was outstanding! We had plenty for our guests and served it immediately after dinner so there was none wasted. We had the top tier saved (for our anniversary) and maybe 4 large pieces leftover. We ordered peanut butter mousse filling and chocolate cake for the bottom tier, their special strawberry champagne cake with strawberry mousse for the middle tier, and red velvet cake with cream cheese filling for the top tier, all covered with buttercream frosting and then SCCs fondant recipe. I will admit that I am NOT a fan of fondant and was a little hesitant to try it; however, I sampled some during our free cake tasting and was very impressed! It tasted like vanilla and marshmallow cream opposed to the bitter tasting fondant I have had before. The owners are so sweet and passionate about their work, and they were very easy-going and laid back to work with. The bakery feels so warm and welcoming, and I plan on going back to order my daughters next birthday cake! My only advice is that the very center of the cake was still a little frozen, which made it a little difficult to cut. It wasnt a lot of cake, and we still had plenty, but we didnt have someone to cut and serve our cake, and that made it challenging. Of course, we tried cutting it ourselves for our guests and the slices we cut were not the prettiest. : ) My advice is to request if someone from the bakery would be able to cut and serve the cake because they will know best about what to do if they encounter any issues.

They made our wedding cake 6 years ago. We went over the details NUMEROUS times. It was still WRONG! I had 2 layers that were white and one layer that was BLUE!! not what I asked for. Also we were to have a fleur de lis banded around the bottom of one layer and my 3 year old daughter could have done it better! and she draws people with their arms coming out of their head!! When they delivered the cake, which we PAID them to do, they slammed it on the counter and left, damaging the cake in the process. My caterers out of the goodness of their hearts fixed it and assemble it for us, which the bakery was supposed to do!! Any time I spoke with them on the phone, I was made to feel like an inconvenience and when I showed up for my cake tasting APPOINTMENT, she was no where near ready for us and told me, "I guess I can make some time for you now." I HAD AN APPOINTMENT!! At the time I worked in retail management and was working 70-80 hour weeks. My time was very precious. I havent even begun to talk about the cake itself! It was HORRIBLE, dry and crumbly and not even the flavor combination I selected. With all these issues you would think I had ordered an elaborate cake, rest assured I did not. I ordered a 3 layer square cake, covered in white fondant, All layers were supposed to have a blue band at the bottom, a WHITE lace design on the middle layer, and on the top layer, a fleur de lis in WHITE above the band with our Monogram in Blue. Pretty simple. The lace design was blue and the fleur de lis was blue.... IT was HORRIBLE looking. I will never, EVER, EVER reccommend this establishment to ANYONE. If fact over the last 6 years I have told many people I know our story and heard similar stories in return about it.

My wife found her after a terrible customer service mishap at Pa Bakery. Thank god she found her. She is a cistom cake specialist. We gave her a tough project, creating an exact replica of my professional camera with my long 70-200mm lens on it. Aside from the cake turning out amazing she was so nice and easy to work with. Shes tucked back off the main rd in Harrisburg. She deserves the nice building pa bakery has since customer service is obviously a weak point for pa bakery. Ill never again think about calling anyone other than her for cakes from now on.

We decided to look elsewhere after spending too much money at PA Bakery and not getting our moneys worth so we tried this place. The staff was super friendly - we asked them to be creative with the cake we ordered and didnt provide too many specific instructions. The cake was not only gorgeous and EXACTLY what I was hoping for (and more!), but it was also DELICIOUS!! And almost half the price of PA Bakery! We definitely recommend getting your cake from here.

Picked up our cake and cupcakes a day before r wedding on june 9th put the Right in the refrigerator like told to do Cake was so dry would just fall right apart as soon as u took the wrapper off never put filling in our cake when it was supposed to be filling. vanilla strawberry swirl couldnt even tell it was strawberry swirl barley and strawberry and thw icing for the cupcakes where nasty as can be . The only thing is the people were nice

We had Sweet Confections make 3 "wedding" cakes, one for the wedding shower, one for the rehearsal dinner, and one for the wedding. All were FABULOUS! The service was first rate, the cake designs were unbelievable in beauty and uniqueness. Sweet Confections made a Game of Thrones grooms cake for me last week. It was red velvet inside and had white chocolate mouse icing. It was delicious, beautiful and everyone raved about it. Darmayne used an internet picture to create the cake and the edible crown on top. I highly recommend this bakery for creative, delicious cakes.
