Ill start of saying the food was really good. The service was terrible. It was just my family and another family in there at the time. We were in the middle of ordering and the lady looks over at the other table and says "they dont have drinks" and she took off. I have never been in a situation where I got 2/3 of my order in and the waitress takes off. Then, my daughter accidentally spills a water on the table. The waitress saw it and walked back into the kitchen. Finally my wife had to walk back and ask for napkins and the waitress gave my wife a dish rage and said here you go. We have been there three times before and never had such bad service. We will probably never come back.

Worst Korean Restaurant Ever... I highly suspect there is a trick behind high ratings of this crappy eatery on Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Google+, etc. I visited on a Sunday for lunch, and there was only one other party there. As the foodies know, a good restaurant is one that is always full. So, dont be fooled by the high ratings. We ordered both Seafood and Qalbi Dol Sot (hot stone bowl) —their best dishes according to our waitress. Meat and seafood quality were so poor that we couldnt even eat. So we paid and left immediately to go to another restaurant to have a nice Sunday brunch.

The food here is truly outstanding, and that is why you come to this restaurant. My favorites are the spicy pork bulgogi, beef bulgogi, Hae mul (seafood) pancake, bibim nang myun (spicy cold noodles), soon doo bu, and the hae jung guk. Dont forget to try the soju -- a Korean distilled rice liquor flavored to your taste with watermelon or other fruit. I have actually tried seafood pancake in nearly every Korean restaurant that I have ever visited and this is the best seafood pancake that I have tried anywhere -- even in Korea!

Absolutely awful, awful Korean food. The worst Ive had in my life. Please do not go here. When I complained about the food, the waitress just implied that I do not have my appetite, which I thought was mildly rude. I had to stop eating halfway because I was really put off by the terrible taste it left in my mouth. You are better off going to Lighthouse Tofu, which is just a 2 minute drive away.

Food itself maybe a 4 star, the price and service is not. Definitely overpriced for dinner, especially any meat dish even though they taste ok, but the portion man, 33$ for a little bit of ribs, I just cant. Pancake was way too oily and with little toppings thus cant justify the price either. Hidden in a rather awkward light industrial corner of Rockville, no issue there, just too quiet.

Waiter ruined our experience. Food was not the best for its price. Came here on a highschool budget after looking for a simple korean restaraunt and found this very expensive place. The waiter ran out trying to smuggle us for more tips after we left 4 dollars from poor service . There are much better authentic restaraunts than this around the area. Dont waste your time or money here

Weve been coming to this mom-and-pop restaurant for well over 7 years. Its good to see that it is now just starting to take off which is unfortunate because it will make it difficult to find a table but Im happy for the owners. Every dish is exceptional in my opinion butts the seafood pancake appetizer is crispy without being greasy.

I like Moas tofu soup more than light house, because it is less salty and seems have less MSG. The side dish isnt as nice as other restaurant. But I like the food quality here. If I just want tofu soup, I will usually come to Moa. Their dumplings are also good.

Wang mandu and hae mul pa jun were fantastic. Wang mandu was obviously homemade and was perfectly seasoned. Hae mul pa jun was crispy and there was a generous amount of seafood. Deon jang jigae was lacking. Will come back to try dol sot bibimbap.

Excellent food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Family owned, clean, well managed. The beef dumplings soup was delicious and the Shumi (Japanese style steamed shrimp dumpling) had a nice sweet flavor.

This is more a hole in the wall place, not fancy, but good solid Korean food. Good bibimbap and pancake, Kimchi is okay.

The food is delicious. We ordered Bulgogi and everything was great. It is a hidden restaurant but it is a gem.

Fantastic little place for traditional Korean food. Very tucked away but well worth trying to find.

Solid Korean food doing all the comfort foods in an area that has very few authentic options.
