We stopped by to eat lunch at this restaurant, and found it to be of good value and excellent cuisine. The restaurant has a casual theme, with very high ceilings and bright colors throughout. A very clean and cheery atmosphere. Ample parking in the back, and easy to get to for being on OSU campus. We were greeted promptly, and our order taken in a reasonable time after receiving some water. My wife ordered the Diaspora Box Combo. She found it to be delicious. She stated that the tempura fried veggies were the best she had ever had. The beef bulgogi she had with it was very tasty. The california roll was average. Overall she was very happy with the choice. I chose to try the Yook Gae Jang. Its a spicy bowl of broth filled with scrambled egg, beef flank, and an assortment of veggies. The broth was very savory with what I would call "medium" heat. The beef flank was tender and juicy. The egg really set it off with the fern and bean sprouts. Both meals featured ban-chan (Korean side dishes), which was all very good. The assorted kimchis were very, very tasty. They had a more fermented and well-rounded taste that I really enjoyed. The flavor was more full than some kimchi that Ive had at other Korean restaurants. They also had other dishes that I had a hard time identifying, but Im not 100% aware of all Korean types of food. They were all very good though. Next time we visit (which we definitely will), we will try some of the sushi. The sushi menu is extensive, so it might take awhile. I recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to try out Korean and doesnt want to break the bank.

Good Korean food. The prices arent exceptional for a Korean restaurant. I paid seven something (including tax) for a lunch special and wasnt full. You needed to buy an entree to get the sides. The entrees were eight up to fourteen (neither including tax). I think the cheapest sushi roll was five, but you didnt get side dishes with just a sushi roll. Definitely a good place for an occasionally date, though I wouldnt go there regularly. Probably will drop by one day and try their sushi, when Im craving it.

Ive been here three times since moving to Columbus for school, and have enjoyed it every time. The Miso Soup is a great starter to any meal, and the dolsot bibim baph is a tasty dish and a great entry into Korean food. Ive also had the hot pot, which is pretty spicy, but is generally tasty. The customer service is great as well, and its rarely busy despite the great food and fair prices.

Went there last week for the first time and took food to-go. The place itself is nice and cozy and in a great location for college students on OSU campus. Some of their food items were a little pricey, but there are also a good number of cheap dishes too. The service was awesome, the people were friendly, and the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend and will be going back!

Service with a smile. Great place to go on a date. More expensive than some of the other Asian restaurants on campus, but much cheaper than your typical sushi bistro. I just wish I discovered it much earlier in life. Everything is delicious and dont be afraid to try new things. Thank the gods they cleared off the front windows so you can see whats going on inside.

Fantastic place to eat if you want to try something different. Mom and Pop restaurant that offers healthy dishes. Of course depending on your order. The Dolsot Bibim Bahp is one of the best items on the menu...have it served in the hot stone bowl. Free parking in the back, which is great for the campus area.

콜롬버스 한국음식점. 고퀄리티음식은 아니지만 한국음식 맛있게 먹을 수 있는 식당. 일식느낌 음식들도 많지만 여러 종류의 한국 음식을 먹을 수 있다.

Dont ever order Ramen there. Its just Shin Ramyun with an egg. You can easily make at home for less than $2 yourself. Also for the Jjamppong, they use really cheap parts of the squid (not the tentacles). Recommend Min-Ga, a much better Korean restaurant on Bethal Rd.

My fiancee and I have been eating here for 6 years and we have yet to find a sushi restaurant that beats Diaspora in either quality or price. The friendly staff just add to what is always a positive experience. One of my absolute favorite places to eat anywhere.

Great Japanese-Korean fusion restaurant! A marvelous restaurant with a friendly staff. The owners are personally involved in their business and care very much for the quality of the service and cuisine. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Columbus.

The restaurant may not look super fancy but its clean and modern inside with comfortable seating. The food is excellent and as far as quality, it rivals several of the other sushi places in the area which are all more expensive.

Incredible food. This place is hands down one of the greatest places to eat in Columbus. You will not regret any dish, the service is great, and the sushi is A+. P.S. get the tiger rolls! best ever, I cant get enough of them!

Food is fantastic, both the sushi and hot food. It is also very reasonably priced. They also have a good range of options. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Usually pretty quiet if you come in before 5 or 6.

Fantastic. Compared to Korean in other cities, comparably priced for good portions. Wonderful flavor. $19 got me a huge California roll and bulgogi main dish with free side dish refills. Was stuffed.

Good prices (really good lunch specials), friendly staff, generous portions, and most of all...their food really tastes great! They make fresh sushi alongside their more traditional dishes.

Pro- parking in the back. Cons- slow service. Food is ok, not great Korean food. The bibimbop, Korean wings were mediocre. Next time I am in Columbus I will not return here.

Great food and friendly service. Food can take a while because you cant rush quality. I recommend the daeji bulgogi (spicy pork). It is excellent along with everything else.

Try the spicy tuna. If you dont get the fancy-rolls, its actually pretty cheap. These guys do it right, and this is my go-to sushi date spot. The Jiam-bong* is great too

Best sushi in the University District. Big menu with lots of choices and large portion sizes. Good service too and a nice atmosphere. A little pricey, however.

Good service, but the food is definitely at or below subpar. If youre looking for GOOD Korean food, definitely look for an alternative before coming here.

Good food at an okay price. I got the Bibimbap and it was good. It was $8.50 for the Bibimbap and I couldnt finish it at the restaurant. Good value.

Solid Korean spot within an easy walk from campus. The prices are a little high and the portions are not huge but the food is generally very tasty.

Very good Korean food. I love coming here. It is not very expensive either which makes even more attractive for a college student like me :)

Very good food. A friend and I went there for lunch on a Sunday, and it was quiet, with very friendly people who provide good suggestions.
