There is no star that can can rate my experience. Yesterday I bought my 7 month pregnant daughter and two other family members for dinner. Clearly by accident, our server dropped hot water on my daughters leg. The manager ran into the kitchen. She sent a" lead server" to address us and relay our response to her. She informed us the manager left the building. FALSE!!! and I knew this to be so because I could see the manager through the kitchen door. The manager never addressed us... She offered my daughter a slice of cake ( really for a first and pre second degree burn on the thigh). At the insistence of one of my guests they removed my daughters food from my bill. We needed to get the injury checked out... as a result the dinner was cancelled right after it begun. They never offered an apology.. (rather only the server did).. never offered to cover any medical expenses, cover the food bill. There was nothing done to attempt to correct this injury. Knowing who I am an not to be taken lightly... I returned (after taking my family members home and returning my daughter home) to get dinner for my husband. To my surprise whos at the counter... YES!!!!! the manager from the kitchen. she didnt recognize me... fair enough.. I ate there two evenings in a row but okay. The server brought to her attention who I was. Again no response ... no apology. I was given a card with someone elses name on it to handle this matter in the morning... really I know the managers name ... its printed on both receipt... and its a relative of the owner. Im completely dissatisfied with first the negligence of the management staff. The lack of concern for the patrons. . and the utter disrespect shown to my daughter. On the food side. We did eat the food after seeking medical attention... the food was awesome. Is this the end... probably not. *** UDPATE call yestarday spoke with Nikki (im sure a relative of the owner). she was actually very pleasant. changed the tone of my intentions. she promised to call me back at 4pm....no call. I called the establishment. My intent at that time was to simply eat the cost of the ER visit and have my daughter reimbersed for the copay. PUMP YOUR BREAKS!!!! got nasty Betty. Was all kinds of Bitches...and hung up on a feww times. really this is how you treat a customer injured by your staff... time to escuulate. I refuse to pay for poor service.

THIS SHOULD BE READ IF YOU PLAN ON VISITING HERE. About a week ago I was here and ordered the "Jumbo Lump Crab Cake". Before I tell you about it, let me tell you unless you are GREEK, you will not be taken care of. If you are Greek, be sure to mention it when you walk in the door. They treat normal Americans like trash. They talk Greek all the time to each other. Little did they know I speak Greek. I kept my mouth shut and got an ear full. When I ordered my crab cake, I ordered it well done. When I received it, it was still cold in the middle. Our waitress was arguing with the owner and needless to say she never returned to the table to see if our food was ok. So, when she finally brought the check, she noticed I didnt eat it. She asked if I wanted the cook to put it in the oven again, but since 30 minutes had gone by I asked her to take it back and take it off the check. She took the crab cake to the owner (he was only 10 feet away from me) and he told her to throw it in the trash. He went into the kitchen and came out and returned to his seat at the counter where he was seated. No one said any more about it to me or any one else. The server brought the check and told me she took off the crab cake but still charged me for the sides. (how professional). When I went to pay, apparently they had talked about it and no one asked me how my meal was. So, I paid and left and went home (10 min away) and called and asked to speak with him and they told me he wasnt there. I asked for the manager and she told me she was his wife and wanted to know what the problem was. As I told her, she acted like she didnt know anything about it. When I told her I was Greek as well, she was willing to give me a meal on the house. I declined and told her I really wanted to talk to the owner. She again told me he wasnt there and if I gave her my phone # she would have him give me a call. well, a week later I still have not heard from him. Just goes to show you, he doesnt care about his business and people. I consider him a little to independent and not really caring of his customers. I wont return there.

My family has been patronizing Silver Moon Diner for a number of years and the food has been good and the service adequate. However, on 11/28/15 my wife and I visited the diner for dinner and the experience was crap. I ordered the NY Strip with fried shrimp accompanied by Md. crab soup, slaw and fries. The diner was busy, so our wait was a little longer than usual which was ok. When our entrees finally arrived the food looked great as usual. My Strip was medium rare as ordered; but it was full of gristle. I tried slicing it in three (3) different places and gristle was in each place. I informed the waitress this was not acceptable and would like to have the steak replaced. The waitress informed management of my request, came back and I was told the steak wouldnt be replaced for inventory purposes. I informed the waitress that I wouldnt pay for the steak however I had no problem paying for the sides that I had consumed. Again the waitress goes back to management with this information and came back with a receipt for all of the sides totaling the cost of the regular meal...smdh! The waitress apologized for the experience which wasnt her fault at all! Management never came out to the table to address the situation which was BS at best. After this experience, I will never patronized this establishment again. I decided to go to Silver Moon Diner instead of Outback or Texas Roadhouse. If I had gone to Outback or Texas Roadhouse at least they would have replaced the problem steak! SMDH...

Went to this diner with my boyfriend over the weekend and the service, and food, were terrible. My boyfriend ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and what he got looked like something a five year old wouldve made. He literally got scrambled eggs slapped with two slices of slice cheese on top of it. I ordered an omelet and it was all over the place. Presentation is everything and theirs just lacked luster. Our waitress seemed as though she was ready to clock out and go home. Granted it was after 2am, however, once youre still in uniform, and still on the clock, you do your damn job! After my boyfriend and I finished the worst meal ever, we received the check. We got our cash out and waited for our waitress to come back to us but she was too busy talking so we left it on the table, got up, and left. Side note, here is where I drew the line and decided that I would never eat at this establishment again. As my boyfriend and I walked outside our waitress came out after us and asked if we were planning on paying for our bill. She did not even check the table to see that not only did we pay for our meal but we also left her rude behind a tip as well. No apology was made to us. All that was said was "oh ok" and then she walked back inside. Never again in life will I eat at the silver moon diner. Complete waste of my time and money.
