PLEASE READ!!!! Very rude... the waitress thought my family had left and proceeded to curse about our table... to which I was still sitting and was still planning on leaving an additional tip from my husband and I...my brother had committed suicide the night before... so we were all very exhausted and worn out trying to not bring down our children with the events that surrounded my brothers passing while trying to plan everything 15 states away...I was just done with the day and needed a place to lighten the mood... after not having any sleep I was not wanting to go through traffic over the bridge from base...your service was friendly until you started yelling...a tip that you said you deserved and then proceeded to yell about our table and me and curse my Father... up until that point I was going to be tipping 25% but after your hurtful words... I think the 15% left was more then fair... I highly recommend everyone check out THE LIGHTHOUSE (ammmazing food) or CAPTAIN SMITH both are just a few miles over the bridge but very worth the drive also (captain smith has waaay better prices)

I read the other posts, and was pretty excited to go to this place. So I recommended it to the others, and we went here for dinner. Ordered the broiled seafood platter to get a good sample of various dishes. There was a longer wait than what you would expect, because it wasnt that busy. Anyhow, our dishes came out, and they looked pretty good, but then we took a bite of the shrimp and it was pretty tough, which is usually an indicator of something that had been frozen. Maybe they were having a bad day, but we were not very impressed with the quality of the food here.

Dont be fooled by the unassuming building. This is a diamond. I love these kind of establishments. They let the food do the talking. And baby the food was SCREAMING! I had the platter. 10 oysters, 5 crab balls , 5 scallops , and fish bites , with 2 sides. And it was very affordable. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. And Captain Pat actually works his own place.

My wife and I had the pleasant experience of celebrating our 41st anniversary at Captain Pats Seafood yesterday. The restaurant was comfortable and the server( Christina ) was very pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent and the price was surprisingly fair. This was our first time eating at Captain Pats but will definitely not be our last.

Be careful about this place. Needs to be closed for cleaning atleast a week. This place is dirty. I was looking for the most recent inspection....not posted. Needs a new waitress (rude). Prices are higher than the local establishments. You wont gee the size that you order. Appears to be the thug hangout. Never going there again

i was in there yesterday to purchase a dozen of #1 Males they were awesome ! and i got them at a great price . also the young lady that was taking orders was super polite and kind, i look forward to taking the hour ride from home to visit you all again before this years crab season diminish .

Ordered two dozen #1 males and received some very small crabs (they fit in my hand). When I showed them to the waitres, she quickly brought out an additional 6 crabs to offset the small ones....on a plus side, the food is awsome and the crab where all fat!!!!

This place is fantastic. In a sea of commercialism and chain restaurants, Captain Pats is a breath of fresh air. Great service, great food and cozy rustic ambiance. Im writing after throwing back a few beers and too many crabs and shrimp, and it was perfect.

Fabulous steamed jumbo crabs that had to have just come out of the water...delicious steamed shrimp, coleslaw, hush puppies, crab cakes. wonderful service. Dont be deterred by the looks of the outside.

#1 male crabs were fat and w/ Fried seafood sampler (oysters, clam strips, crab balls, scallops, hush puppies) over filled me. Waitress was very prompt and helpful. Nice country music background.

Very good crab house. We purchased #1 crabs, but several were pretty small and some were missing one or both claws. Bathroom was pretty gross, but I would eat here again.
