We came in because the sign outside said " stuffed peppers " . when we came in We asked about the peppers the server said that was a special from a couple days ago . My husband was disappointed with this news so he just got the French onion soup.and We order the bacon and cheese potato skins ( extra sour cream), when they were brought out we didnt have any small plates to eat them and there was no extra sour cream. I ordered the all you can eat fish fry extra tarter sauce.no extra tarter sauce . The server never asked if I would like another serving of fish. We asked the lady that said she was new to get us the small dishes and extra sour cream , she mentioned it to the guy that was training her and he went over to the computers than just stood overlooking the dining room . when she passed him with our items he said something ( not audible to me ) she said I got it. After she brought our items she must have been put in a different area because we no longer saw her. And our server was hard to find as soon as she brought us something she would disappear . your food is delicious but you really need to observe your wait staff and see if you could improve .

Cheap stuff if youre there on the weekends and looking to have a good time. I went on a Friday night and the bathroom was gross, the waitress didnt really pay attention to us at all and the food is usually sub par for bar food. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise and it tasted like NyQuil cough syrup and was undrinkable and the so-called "Karaoke" was mostly dance music and very little people singing. Sang one song, went to put in for another and they ignored my request. Only reason I stayed was because my friends were shooting pool and other people were buying April 2014 update: I started going back to the bar for Karaoke and Im guessing they have a new person doing karaoke. Went and had a blast, sang my heart out (without drinks, mind you) and didnt have a problem with not being served

i had my first visit at jads ,,it was the worse experience i have ever had,,i should of just went to mcdonalds. i have never been so unhappy with a restaurant like was with jads. the service was terrible this server did not check back with us and she took forever just to come and greet us. there was nothing wrong with the food..the cooks did a wonderful job but the server made my visit terrible..i think you need to find servers who know what they are doing and not stand around talking to other servers and the girl up front. and i had a little boy with me at the time and im sure he heard the language that was used by one of the girls upfront....i wont ever step a foot in Caddyshack doors again..like i said,,mcdonalds had better service then Jads....

I really love the food but tonight the service sucked. We waited 40 before I complained that we had not got our soups after the people who knew the waitress got served before us. Our main meals came before the soups. My meal was cold. We were told there would be an adjustment to our check. There wasnt. I went and asked about the adjustment and was told the meal came out at a reasonable amount of time. The other girl said but his food was cold. Let me check with "Diane". They gave me 10% off. Well that want not acceptable to me. Ive been in customer service my whole life. And that is not customer service. We got no sorry this happened. Only thing I heard was we are really busy tonight. Is that my fault?

just got home and had to write a review about JADs asap! Having been there before; tonight was the last time. We will Never go there again. We had BAD service all night. Never getting our drinks refilled till we were ready for the check. when given our food we asked for A1 and the waitress said ok and then decided to sit down two tables down from us and socialize never bringing us the A1. The servers all stand around talking to one another, swearing, talking badly about the customers, calling each other bad names like b*tch. In one conversation, I caught the end, but I heard Jakie (one of the servers) say " spit in it" something you never want to hear while dinning out. I am disgusted!

We ordered the special that was posted and after waiting awhile the waitress told us that they ran out of the steak special. The waitress asked if we could substitute another meal from the menu. We agreed and when we got our food, we got different side dishes, when we asked about that, the waitress said she didnt feel like telling us that they werent available, so she gave us what should thought we should have. When we got the bill, each dish was $7.00 more than we thought because we ordered off the menu and they did not honor the special that we ordered. The waitress really didnt care about anything. This was the worst experience ever, I will never go there again

Under new management and the Customer service and the friendly servers are long gone.. So Sad we would place a big order every Friday the Whole rack of Ribs, Mostly Fat and there chicken strips with Honey Mustard. I am in the Restaurant business. The Company that they get there condiments from is Sysco great company. But I love Jads Caddyshack they lie to you placed an order was told 25 to 30 min. Get there are order hadnt even been put through. I have worked all aspects of running a Restaurant from Kitchen to Hostess and all in between. Its only going down down down.Dont say I didnt warn you. So Sad

A great, family restaurant with good food, great service, and reasonable prices... even of seafood, if youre into that! An Essex community staple, Jads is a fun night out with friends and family or even a more intimate evening for two. The bar and restaurant are always filled with colorful locals and the staff has a certain charm found in those kind of mom & pop establishments. Overall, a great experience every time and I would highly recommend it to all.

Worst breakfast in America, pancakes are soo dry home fries are not prepared well they just potato blocks with big onions in top, very cheap way of doing it, I ordered eggs they take upon themselves and smother them in fake gov cheese, I hate this place first n last time ever ordering from this disgusting shack, p who say they have good breakfast dont know good food, must be use too eating garbage!!!

Service was not good, there were two of us and we were only brought one menu to start with. I ordered the Cream of crab soup and it was brought out lumpy and cold. The meals were mediocre, not what it use to be years before. I dont think we will be wasting our time or money with going here again. Sad to see such what was once such a great place to eat, now has gone hill. Get it together Diane...

I had the chicken Cesar salad which was recommended by the waitress i was told it was excellent when in fact it was a typical Cesar salad and it was not as big as the waitress led me to believe. I also had the cream of crab soup. My opinion on this is it lacked flavor but I was impressed by how much crab meat was in the soup not just filler.
