I knew I wasnt in the mood for Mexican, Chinese, or a burger from a window, but other than that, I had no idea what I wanted to eat. I remembered the Cafe from an event I attended earlier in the summer. The food was delicious and the staff very courteous so I gave it a shot. There was a parking spot right in front. Great omen! I was greeted in a cheerful manner by the new hostess(?) and her trainer and told the specials before I was even seated. I like knowing what to expect and her description of the comfort foods on the menu surely tempted me to follow her to a seat. I ordered the special, pot roast which was so tender, my knife is still sitting on the table in its pristine condition. The cook came by to inquire about the suitability of my meal and I thanked him for preparing a delicious repast. If you are in the area, and looking for a meal at an incredibly reasonable price ($10.99 for entree, 2 sides, and dessert) this is the place to dine!

This is a cool little place in a neat town. I wanted it to be good so bad that I kept going back... giving it many chances. Unfortunately the service is just horrible and the staff mysteriously disappears for extended lengths of time. Which is a shame because the food is pretty good. In the past Ive waited 45 minutes for breakfast only to be disappointed by cold steak, eggs, and hash browns. I just walked out today because I stood by the please wait to be seated sign for over 5 minutes. Very disappointing because their crab cake sandwich is delicious and now I wont get one before I leave the state. Maybe their slow service is just how they do it in the almost kind of south

Im not this happy with this cafe because 1st: if we came in there the young lady could not seating us she was busy with doing silverware so we did it by us selfs 2nd: the kids saw in the fridge they had Capri Suns so they ask for then the Lady behind the counter yelled at the waiter to not touch them so he apologized to us but my 2 year old wanted it bad so we tried to explain to her and I got a bit upset over it, I said kids do not know they not for customers... then dont put them out where kids see them.... 3rd was not this friendly and totally overpriced the same food I can have somewhere else for less. Sorry but Im not happy with this place!!!!

I would give it 4 maybe 5 stars if I was just rating the food. I am sure they only reason they have been able to stay open is the food and lack of competition in Leonardtown. The service on the other hand is completely awful. Yesterday was the first day I had taken the time to eat in between it being painfully slow service and the attitudes of most of the employees I will never return. If I treated my customers like that I would no longer be employed.

I was looking for a cup of coffee to go while waiting for a friend, but once I got inside the place was so inviting, so clean, and the staff so genuinely friendly, I called her to meet me for lunch. We were so glad we did. The food was great, the salad bar fresh and ample and the coffee delish. And, the prices are very, very reasonable. Its a must--from families to friends looking for good, affordable food with home-town service.

My mom and I come here often. Today the temp outside is 95+ and the temp in the restaurant is 85+. The waitress told us the AC has been broken for 3 years. It works for a short time then freezes up. Its uncomfortable in here. The owner needs to get a new unit. The food and service are always great!! Its the only reason we are staying today. However, we may not come back till fall.

Fast, friendly service. The chef actually welcomed us, and the place was super clean. Everything was cooked to perfection. Reminded me of when I was nine years old (many years ago) fishing with my Dad. We stopped in a small restaurant that had home cooked meals. Awesome experience! I will ditch Bob Evans, Golden Corral and every other diner from now on. Absolutely wonderful place!

I got to say huge improvement I had the country fried steak and you can tell it was fresh nystrip pounder and fried with a sausage gravy that was amazing. I definitely recommend trying eating here everything is being made fresh and homemade no more frozen as the chef explained to me, and you can tell. I will be back soon.

Awful... Thats all I can say. No customers in the place, waited 45 minutes for an omelet and a sandwich... Never got it.. found out it was sitting on the counter for nearly 15 minutes waiting for our server to give it to us... Waitresses were all gone while our food sat there. Got up, paid for our coffees and left.

Walked in and was seated and that was it! We asked one of the waitresses if we could get service amd she called to someone who never came over! Mind you there were about 10 people working there and it was like we were invisible! We walked next door to Rex and immediately got service!

The foods good but 7.40$ for 1 bagel and 3 strips of bacon is outrageous it used to be 4.75 for the same thing. I was going to order a bagel bacon and 1 sasuge biscuit and they wanted to charge me 14$!!!! The food is good but you better be a millionaire to afford these prices.

This was a very nice place to eat. My boyfriend and I randomly stumbled upon it and now we have agreed to revisit in the future. The people were nice and friendly and the food was great! The service was a tad slow but its ok if you arent in a hurry. Still a great place to go!

Delicious food and home of the best pancakes in the world. On top of their exceptional customer service, their upbeat attitude and positive personality definitely call for a nice experience at this establishment.

Overall the food is usually good. I was surprised how well cooked the fish was in the fish and chips meal. They have a breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday. The service is decent.

Quaint diner menu with classics and a few twists. I loved my huge Cuban sandwich with hush puppies. Burgers are handmade, too! Everything was well prepared and good service.
