Both time i have been here the staff have been terrible. The first time the young barista was sitting with a friend on the job instead of manning the till. The second time I went I asked for an iced coffee and the barista gave me a hot coffee. This wouldnt have been an issue at all if the barista hadnt disagreed with me! She assured me that I was in the wrong! I dont know if she understands that the customer is always right but she should definitely not work with customers.

I only hit the speakeasy, and Im bordering near 4 stars... It was fun getting in by way of phoning in the password for our reservation. The cocktails were delicious, but Ive seen more creative ones. Especially considering what speakeasy menus often look like. But it was still quite an extensive menu that was by no means basic. And the drinks were definitely good, though sometimes inconsistent (like with shapes of ice, which is very picky but it was noticeable). Neat space.

Fun place to go, definitely have to do it once. The menu selection is very small but the food they do have is absolutely delicious, more like appetizer style. Their drinks are creative and plentiful. We mainly wanted to try this place out for the old school style and it was interesting and pretty fun but a bit pricey for my taste. I recommend going at least once for a couple drinks and the crab appetizer!

Excellent service combined with a unique experience. Both the Coffee Shop out front and the Speakeasy bar in the rear offered high quality food and service every time my wife and I come in for some fun. The Tuesday Martini Classes are outstanding both in the presentation and the quality of food provided. If you live in Southern Maryland you should definitely stop by. You will not be disapointed!

Stopped in and had lunch, a mushroom wrap which was divine! Helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere with lots pf people with laptops and also families. I was already coffeed-up, so I did not try any, but if you are in a hurry they have an honor system which impressed me. I really liked it. Too bad I was just passing through.

Excellent atmosphere. Baristas are always super friendly, and the food here is fairly good too. Havent tried the bar yet but my brother raves about it. I personally recommend the 20° Below Frappé/Milkshake... Basically a Frozen Hot Chocolate... Yummy!

What an adorable and cool coffee shop and swanky "speakeasy". Loved the atmosphere and the staff. Menu is beyond a coffee shop with gourmet lunch specials and lots of fun drink options, breakfast, snacks, and baked goods.

The service as outstanding. My coffee came with a complementary mini-muffin. The coffee was ok, I like a dark roast which wasnt available. Great atmosphere to stop for a break and read a book.

I like the bar setting, however the chairs are uncomfortable. The cafe area is good, however it can get very noisy in there. Overall I like the service and quaintness.
