I have heard so much about Burgerfi. I have a FB friend that loves the Silver Spring spot. The pics I would see of the burgers online looked so good. I was very excited when I heard they were opening one here in Laurel. I love a good hamburger! I finally decided to check them out today. I arrived around 11:45ish. I was thinking to myself as I was walking up to the door....I hope there isnt a line. I walk in. The place is empty. There were 2 customers at the register, but no one was sitting down. I thought....well maybe its a lil early for a lunch rush. The cashier was nice. I ordered a single cheeseburger with mustard, grilled onions, and chilli. I also ordered the cry + fry and a banana milkshake. When I saw the price of my meal, I gave the cashier a side eye/raised eyebrow combo. I thought to myself....this better be a damn good hamburger for $18. I have no problem paying $20 if Im getting $20 worth. My hamburger was smaller than I thought it would be for $7. The order of cry + fry was a good size. The banana milkshake was an average size. The hamburger wasnt bad. It was cooked medium well. I love my chilli cheeseburger sloppy, but there really wasnt that much topping on the burger. I thought they forgot to put the toppings on my burger, but it was just a small amount that you had to lift the bun up to see. The fries were hot out the grease and pretty good. My onion rings were not bad. My banana milkshake was good. All in all, I would say the food is good, but not great. If I pay $17 & change for a burger and fries, I want "great". Im not really a "boutique restaurant", as I like to call them, type person. A lot of the new restaurants that opened over here in the new shopping center are the same (boutique-ish)....high priced, small portions, average tasting. Now, I love food! I will gladly pay the high price, but I want my moneys worth. I actually spend that much on a meal regularly. However, the portion I get is huge and the food is excellent. I would love to see this place succeed. It doesnt matter how fancy your neighborhood gets. You cant charge that much for average burgers and fries and stay in business for too long. Its worked for them in many other areas though, but hopefully they will do well here. They definitely need to do some daily specials or something to get more people in the door. I would recommend that you give this place a try. You can definitely get full off the meal, which is always good. If you dont mind paying for a good hamburger, then this place is for you. Thank you Burgerfi and welcome to Laurel, MD.

Went to dinner at this place for the first time the other night with my family. This is my honest review: The decor is beautiful, the eating area is kept nice and clean, and the service is friendly but the food... the food is just not up to par. Its not that anything tasted particularly bad (more bland) but for that price and the size of the meal, its just not worth it. I had the BugerFi Cheese Burger & onion rings. Now I expect to get a decent size burger with all the trimmings for $17 but what I got was small and not impressive at all. I will say that the onion rings are HUGE and thats awesome considering that most places dont do onion rings correctly, so it was nice to see that, and the burger meat itself is encouraging, considering it is 100% natural Angus beef but my praise stops there. The patties were tiny, the buns were thin and flat, and their "famous" BurgerFi sauce was seriously nothing to shake a stick at. Another thing that surprised me was that there were absolutely no condiments on the tables, no salt, pepper, ketchup, old bay, nothing but napkins, and when you ask for these things they give you tiny dip cups. All in all, it feels like the concept was well thought out but the execution just fell flat. I honestly get a better tasting, better value meal at Five Guys, Famous Daves or Americas Best Wings. I wish you guys the best but I dont think Ill be a repeat customer.

Burgerfi is similar to Five Guys in their menu but that is about all they share in similarity. Their food was a tasteless mound of over-expensiveness. The single Burgerfi comes with no fixings unless you ask. (I asked for grilled onions but it never made it to my burger.) There were signs advertising that the beef is free of hormones and antibiotics but that should not eqate to a lack of flavor. The Cry + Fry was another showcase of blandness. The cardboard fries and huge unseasoned onion rings just made me wonder "whats the point?" My daughter tried the Breakfast All Day burger and said the hashbrown was soft instead of crunchy and the maple syrup was faintly detectable. In fairness, my son had the vegiburger that he said was delicious. Surprise surprise. Overall, it was not a place I would want to go to again. If I want a pricey burger and fries that doesnt disappoint, I will stick with the place mentioned at the beginning of my review. Update: June 4, 2017 I decided to give this place another try and change from one star to three stars. I ordered the single burgerfi again and I will admit it was scrumptious. It was amazingly better than the first time. They still neglected my requested onions but it did not interfere with my overall enjoyment. I did not try any other menu items at this visit so I can not remark about it- but I hope to in the near future.

First off, I dont think there is a bigger fan of burgerfi, than myself. I travel for work and make it a point to visit these as much as possible. During this visit I drove almost an hour to eat at this location. Food = Great Service = Eh, not so much... Initially everything seemed normal. However, once Yvonne brought my food to me, I made the mistake of asking for a couple of Fi sauce cups for the CryFry. Immediately I could tell this annoyed her. She turned around without responding and came back a minute later with the cups. Once I thanked her in an polite tone, she didnt respond and just walked away. Hold on tight... because I really stepped up my aggravation. Before leaving I wanted a concrete. I asked if it were possible to create my own. I could see the implosion of her brain through her eyes. She stared at me for what seemed like 10 seconds before sighing and responding that she doesnt really know what that even means. All I wanted was vanilla base, peanut butter and brownies. Fairly simple. She again seemed annoyed. She then said, fine "Ill just charge you for a key lime and Ill see what I can do." Honestly, I dont care what you type in as long as you make what I asked for. All in all good food with very poor customer service. There are many other great places around that you can eat at and not get the attitude.

Disclaimer: I like to leave detailed reviews! :-) I went to this place on a whim...I ordered tell burgerfi cheeseburger and it was pretty darn good! Wasnt too big but it was a good size for me...as I also ordered the onion rings. Let me tell you, these things were HUGE!!!!! 5 I believe came in and order but they were so big it could easily be 10 onion rings in another life! My husband ordered a NY style hotdog and a Chicago style hotdog...I of course tasted them both and to my surprise they were also pretty good! Their presentation was great kid just thought the combinations were interesting... :-) but great place a little pricey but not too bad. We also had lemonade and a beer...they also offer discounts for Military, Govt. Associates, etc. Id definitely recommend this place! You wont be disappointed!
