Always have issues when we come here, but tonight was the final straw. At first no server was assigned to our table so we had to sit around for a while waiting for that to be sorted out. The server that we were finally assigned was perfectly good, but when it came time to pay the kitchen manager rejected a $5 coupon we had on the basis that it was issued by another location, so he would not use his budget to cover other locations coupons. Nothing in the fine print said that the coupon was only valid at the issuing location, which he confirmed to us, but told us he didnt care because it wasnt his fault. When I told him that it seemed absurd to worry about $5 FR his budget to the point of instead losing all future business from the four customers at the table, he again told us that he did not care and it wasnt his fault. We asked for the corporate number to file a complaint and he walked off. We began to pay our split check on the Ziosk machine there when he suddenly showed back up telling us not to pay, saying that he was going to comp our check not because of the coupon (still insisting that he was in the right there) but because of the wait before being assigned a server. By this point the other half of our party had already paid their half of the check through the Ziosk machine. The kitchen manager said that he has absolutely no way to reverse this (i wonder if they cant reverse charges even if they are wrong) so instead he gave them a gift card for the exact amount, even though we had made it clear that none of us would ever be back. His behavior tonight has cost the entire Red Robin company all future business from four regular customers. Again, this was the final incident in a string of poor service that goes back years at this location and others, but the fact that he would rather lose our business than honor a $5 coupon (and he told us that he makes a routine of refusing coupons FR other locations, citing an example the previous week), well, that makes it clear that the issues we have come down from management, and Im not going to put myself through horrible let experiences stemming from managers who dont care and dont take responsibility. You shouldnt put yourself through it either. Pass on eating at this location, and youre probably better off staying away from the chain in general because weve had experiences al.ost as bad at their other locations.

Red Robin use to be a great place to eat. Use to. It was the one place my Wife and I could take the kids every couple weeks and feel good about it. The atmosphere was good, the food was good, staff was good, the prices were good. But Red Robin is no longer any of that and hasnt been in quite some time. Was is a word I used a lot in that last sentence because its simply true. Red Robin is no longer a quality place especially this location. This location has gone so far down hill it is no longer a place I will ever take my family. As time as gone by the quality of food and quality of service has disappeared. Every time we have been here lately the food seems to get worse, cold food one time, soggy food the next, orders coming out wrong, dirty utensils, hair on my food and the list can go on but I will stop at that. You ask for something with your order like extra mayo on the side and 9 out of 10 times they waitress will completely forget about it. Want a refill for your drink? Last time we were there the waitress disappeared and took 15 minutes to come back with our refills. Finish your french fries and want more, the waitress never came back to the table to even ask. Flagged another waitress who says they are busy with their own tables. All I asked was for her to get the waitress for me. Complained to the manager a few times on all the issues but the issues are never fixed. I dont go out and spend my money in exchange for just horrible service. Anyone thinking of going here save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

We have eaten at Red Robin owings mills multiple times. The food is really good. The employees, not so much. We always get a rude hostess. Were lucky if we end up with a nice waiter. You have to flag down a waiter if you ever need anything because they rarely come check up on you. The service is so bad, we are often forced to order it as take out because we dont want to set foot inside. One time we stood infront of the hostess booth for a whole 15 minutes and we were ignored by every employee that saw us. Even the manager. Seeing as how they did not want to greet us and give us a table, we left and went to eat elsewhere. I just tried to call and place an order for pick up. And when ordering from the kids menu for my son, i was asked what side did i want. I asked what sides they had. All i heard was silence. I said "hello?" after a few minutes and the guy was like "oh yeah what?" ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I THOUGHT HE WAS CHECKING THE MENU OR SOMETHING. When i asked him the total he asked me to hold and i said ok. And then all i heard was a voice OF A WOMAN that said "what?" And then i was hung up on. I called back so irritated and all the woman who answered could say was "can you hold?" And i said no i was not going to hold after i was just hung up on. She replied "im sorry can you hold", i got so mad i told her to just cancel my order.

I really do not know what this restaurants problem is but service was super slow. There wasnt even a host present to seat us for the first 10 minutes. Then once we were seated, it took 30 minutes for the server to take our orders. And this was at a time late Sunday evening when the restaurant wasnt even crowded. To put things mildly, the staff are lacking in hustle. This is not to say that the staff arent nice. When he was around, the server was very helpful. But the times when he was actually around were infrequent. So what should have been an hour for dinner at most, took two hours. Aside from that, I thought the food was pretty decent. We had a guacamole bacon burger, the hummus plate, and the Arctic Cod Fish & Chips. The portion sizes, however, were disappointing. If one is paying $12.99 for the fish and chips, one would expect more than four small pieces of fish. I dont think refills of "bottomless" fries add that much value to the meal compared to actually having enough fish to be satisfied.

Ordered a Patty Melt with American and Swiss cheese to go, Patty Melts come with two slices of cheese so I told her I wanted Swiss and American which is my signature order and when I get there the bartender tells me what the cost is and it is a dollar more than usual. She looks at the bill and tells me they charged me .99 for cheese and I tell her it comes with two slices of cheese so there has been a mistake so she says "let me find the manager". So here comes the manager and she says I am the one who took your order and we charge .99 for Swiss cheese because it is so thick - Seriously, you have got to be kidding me. First if that is the case shouldnt she tell a customer there will be an upcharge for Swiss cheese???? I have eaten that sandwich with Swiss and American for years and have never been charged anything additional for Swiss cheese. What an idiot and she was the manager. I told her to shove it and got my money back and left. Wont be going back there again.
