The food was very good. Chicken is tender and juicy. Sauces were nice. The white ranch sauce didnt do anything for me. The hand cut fries were the best.. My criticism would be if you are competing with sardis down the street do not skimp on the sides..my husband and I always goes to sardis and one order of half chicken, sides, and sauces will fill us up....so we visit more often. ..around 11 dollars and 2 people eat good....portion here were smaller.

Great food, great atmosphere, great people. The boisterous manager (who I imagine is the owner) greeted us right when we walked in and helped us with the choice of food. Also before we sat down he saw that it was our first time and told us about the heat of the 2 sauces you get with your meal. The chicken was amazing along with the chicken fried rice and french fries I got. Definitely going to eat here again on my next trip to Fredrick.

Dried Chicken unflavored... nothing close to an Peruvian Chicken. Extremely dissatisfaction, never come back. Pollo seco y sin sabor.. Nada parecido al pollo Peruano. Extremadamente no regreso.

Visited Golden Beak 8/10/2016 since we had a coupon. Excited to try it since the alternative was Sardis (which we got 2 nights before). The chicken was dry and simply didnt taste like Peruvian. The food wasnt awful, but it definitely wasnt great. If you want *good* tasting chicken, just drive a little further down the street for Sardis, better tasting chicken.

Me and my wife kept driving past this place every time we came to Frederick. Today we finally made it our mission to stop by today, and Im so glad we did. The food is spectacular, the price is right. You can feed a whole family for $23. So if your driving past or through Fredrick, MD and you like good Peruvian chicken stop by, you will not be disappointed.

Quarter dark combo with chicken fried rice & plantains, & a chicken cheese sub with fries & a side of plantains. All very good, w/ huge portions. The food is excellent, & the people are very friendly. Ive gotten take-out & eaten in, & will definitely go again. And you should go too!

It was our first time at the golden beak in frederick. The food is delicious, the chicken is so tender and tasty. I had the salad and the plaintan, omg the plaintan is so sweet! It serves as my dessert after the meal. Will definitely stop by morr often.
