Went there for a friends low-key wedding reception. We had all given our orders weeks in advance of our dinner (It was a limited menu that we picked off of). I ordered a filet with no crab cake. For some reason I believe that they were still giving our waitress other tables after everyone arrived, so we did not see her but maybe 6 times total (for about 16 people and 3 courses). Everyone got their salads and that went fine. They started to bring out main courses, and I never received mine. I figure it might take a while longer since the other person who got a filet was told that there was a mix up in the kitchen (I was never told this, just overheard them telling the other person this). So I wait for about 10 minutes and people are about half way done with their food and the other person gets their filet. So I figure mine should be out any second. Another 10 minutes go by and most people are finishing up their meal. We finally see our waitress again and I let her know I have not received my meal yet, she says she knows this and did not forget about me, but there was a mix up in the kitchen. So 5 more minutes go by and they finally bring out my food. Im not about to sit there and let 15 people watch me eat my food for 10-15 minutes, so I tell them to bring me a box. I take it home and when I go to eat it... RAW in the middle. Not rare, but raw. Still purple. Horrible food, horrible service, horrible time.

I went there with co-workers for lunch (12 People). The place itself is nice. I tried one of their German meals. The fries where soggy the Schnitzel barley looked like a Schnitzel. (Was just a very thin slice of pork ….. a total let down! …my suggestion please don’t offer German food if you have no idea how German food ought to taste …in particular Schnitzel). We also had crab cakes and there were horrible. One of us had the Caribbean chicken and was also very disappointed. I guess the burgers are ok. The whole food experience was very disappointing. The food is highly overpriced and not worth for another visit. We spent more than $ 300.00 that day. Won’t be back soon!

First impression was great because of the really cool environment. Beer selection was poor, beer quality was average at best. One of the waiters asked me to take my on plate and place it on his tray which seemed a bit odd in a moderately upscale place. I payed 15.00 for a burger that was extremely dry, under seasoned and low quality. I asked for a side of honey for my wife, and the waitress tossed two packets of honey on the table. I then asked for a cup to place the honey in, and that got tossed on the table as well. The only thing this place has going for it is the scenery outside of the building. Please do not waste your money here.

What a great place this would be if they could just serve better food. We ordered chicken tenders one evening and they were the battered minced up pieces of chicken you might get at a food pantry and the lettuce in the salad was old and brown. YUK! They could do SO much better with just a little effort. Its really too bad because theyre just down the street and my friends and I who all LOVE beer would go weekly if their food were at least equal to McDonalds. The bartenders have always been great but the food stinks.

3.5 stars. I didnt drink any of their beer, but I thought the food was good for a bar. I ordered the Argentine Steak and I really liked it. The steak was cooked to perfection and was topped with their chimichurri sauce. I wasnt a fan of the Wild Boar Goulash. It tasted like Campbells Vegetable Beef Soup with chunks of beef. I couldnt tell if the meat was beef or boar. The Shrimp and Crab Mac NCheese had a good portion of crab and shrimp. However, the pasta seemed a little over boiled.

What can I say? Pleasant atmosphere, solid service, and pretty good beer, I will be back. I didnt have the foo, but looks like standard pubgrub with some nice alternative meat options (boar, elk, venison, bison). They also looked to have a handful of German options. Beer note: I had the black IPA, and it was nice. Good hoppy backbone with a heavy helping of roasted malty goodness. Surprisingly creamy with a nice head.

Do not go to this place for food. You will be greatly disappointed! I have been there 3 times now, not sure why I kept ordering food. Every time it was terrible. I think their only cooking devise in the kitchen was a microwave. All the food was soggy, tasted like it had been reheated from several days ago. Beer was ok. Nothing to brag out. I had the sampler. They dont have much in the way of good dark Ales.

My husband and I stopped while visiting from out of town. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Server was attentive. Our food order came out quickly. I ordered the crab cake sandwich with old bay chips and my husband had ribs and garlic mashed potatoes. We were both pleased with our meals. They came out hot and portions were plenty. The beer was a bit pricey but my husband enjoyed the taste of it.

The staff is awesome! Some of the food is really good but some of it is just blah. The vegetarian chili is good. Once you find the things that you do like, stick with them. This place is more about the bar/people/location and less about the food for me. Has 3 floors - the bar in the basement is so much better now that its smoke-free. Fun neighborhood pub.

I went there in December when I was visiting family and boy am I glad we stopped in. The food was good, not big portions, but still tasty and fresh (fried fish and chips). The real reason we went was for the beer. I had the seasonal dopplebock and a dunkel. Both were superb. The dopplebock is one of my favorite beers to date. I will go back every time Im in MD.

My fiance and I went here on a date night. The beer was delicious and the food was very good. We also had a very attentive and knowledgeable server. I would not recommend the crab and shrimp macaroni and cheese, though. It tasted find, but it was made with penne and had a cream based cheese sauce that one does not usually expect of mac & cheese

My work team and I just had our holiday party there. There was some initial confusion with our reservation but they were able to accomadate a party of 18 regardless. The food was good, beer was great and service was prompt. One server worked our party, Erica, and she did a great job making sure everyone was provided for.

Beautiful venue. Service was very good. However, I ordered argentine steak andvwhst arrived was simply ok. Over cooked but the spices were good. They should not advertise a ribeye and sell a thin steak. My date had the basic salmon with no presentation. It was dry. I had to curve to give this place a 3 star.
