Visited today 5.4.16 just after 1pm. Fair crowd, but not full. Mix of different types and ages of people. Service was good, but I was extremely dissappointed in the food. I ordered the Shrimp Roll. Menu describes it as: Fresh Homemade shrimp salad served on a grilled New England split roll w 1 choice of side. I got fries. Food arrived quickly. What was supposed to be shrimp salad was only baby shrimp but nothing to honor the title of salad ingredients. The shrimp were presented on a large leaf of lettuce that rested on the roll. The roll did not appear to have been grilled, nor was it hot or even warm. The shrimp aka shrimp salad was neither warm nor cold,...more room temp. The shrimp were fairly tasteless but seemed to be fresh. The large quantity of french fries were also room temp & questionably cooked with some underdone & some over cooked. I saved the entire plate of food with a bottle of malt vinegar! IF I go back I will definately try something else since most reviews seem to be favorable. The atmosphere was good, friendly, seaside-ish. Draft beer was cold. Waitress attentive without being intrusive.

I wish I could review the food but I never got the chance. I never write bad reviews, but this experience deserves one. We went there on a weekend with my family, we are locals. They told us a 20 min wait, no problem. Except when it turned into nearly and hour and a half. I could have handed it except the owner, who met some random people the day before, a party of 6, cut in front of us because they said, " remember us from the street yesterday?" The hostess was shocked and continually apoligized as we patiently sat there. Finally after 1 1/2 hours I asked her again what the deal was. She said, "Oh sorry we have a birthday booked now and it will be another 45 minutes, maybe!" I have never been so mad! We left and had to eat fast food because my 5 and 7 year old were so hungry. Wish I would have had a better experience. They lost massive repeat business, we eat out alot! We are military and have been telling lots of friends not to go there!

OH MY GOSH!!! is the only intelligent thing I can say after enjoying such yummy, well prepared food. There is something about truly fresh seafood that is a force to be reckoned with! Yorktown Pub has nailed it! They are spot on with the heat of the food (both temperature and spice) and with the perfect amount of seasonings. It was absolutely, undeniably delicious. Especially the Ahi Tuna. It was truly out of this world. I HIGHLY recommend them for a casual dinner in a pleasant atmosphere. If you are lucky, Duane will be the chef and live music will entertain you while you enjoy your delicious food presented by an incredible wait staff. Ask for Melody. She ROCKS!!!

Ive spent a lot of time in eastern Va and have ate at alot of great places but this one takes the cake. Couldnt even get to try their food because a over entitled bouncer tried to hustle cash out if us at the door. Im not paying to pay to eat yalls food when 6 women went in front of us and their "boouncer" did the hustle cash out of them. If the was a "cover charge" to eat at home hole in the wall pub the why wouldnt there be a option toadd it to the bill if Id actually consider paying to pay for food, suck a fat one and choke on it Yorktown Pub. And when I say Yorktown Pub I mean that prick "bouncer" holding the front step down. Get a real mans job

Food was great, although perhaps a bit over priced. Seafood platter has an abundance of various types; the fish ,scallops and jumbo shrimp were delicious! The crabcake, although tasty, included too much filling for the price of the platter. Our server, Kayla, was excellent!! Very attentive, polite and personable. At the time of our visit, it was quite busy. However, Kayla made it seem like we were her only table. I belive she actually had 4 or 5 active tables. A job well done!!! A fantastic meal to end a nice day in Yorktown. Thank you!!!! Previous Coast Guard enlisted, Blair Farrell.

My husband and I asked for dinner at 9:30 p.m.. they said they were not serving food. At about 10:00 p.m. we see a waitress walk by with three plates of food. So we left. About 5 minutes later I called the phone number for the Pub. The woman answered and I asked "do you guys still serve food?" And she did yes they had food and a late night menu. So Im very disappointed becuase the band they had was great but it was hard to hangout and enjoy it with everyone else getting food and you being told they didnt serve food anymore.

I am Dominic Caiatis grandfather Anthony Today is 19 August, 2017. Ive eaten here twice, once in October, 2015, and November, 2015. Going back Labor Day weekend of this year with family from Connecticut. Im not a fish guy, Im a burger guy. The food and the service is well worth the trip from Virginia Beach! Yes and we are bikers. If you dont like bikers, dont blame it on the Yorktown Pub. Its OK if you dont like bikers, that tells me. Youre living by tunnel vision, whatever it is. Let it go!

Terrible service! I got yelled at by the manager/bartender or something like that because she thought I got in the wrong table although the hostess just took me there. Nobody bothered to apologize. The waitress gave me the receipt with a larger number of money that I was supposed to pay. She explained that she accidentally added one more item before swiping my card. Hhmmmm.... wont recommend the place at all. Plus, the food is just average for the price. Not worth it.

One of my favorite places in the world been going there my whole life! Mostly a locals joint, if youre a tourist and youre complaining, clealy, you havent been there enough! Yes it is old, built in 52, its weathered many, many hurricanes in its time. The food is great, staff, (especially Chris) is wonderful! Its a place I can go after I get off work have a beer, and enjoy myself and good people. :) And to top it off a wonderful view!

food good..it seems .employees seem not very friendly but rather cuz they have to be or the fact the tip comes on the bill already... so they dont have to be......near water is cool but Probably would not visit again....flyes buzzing around my food while eating too. maybe they were having a bad day...it seems there is a problem with the service staff.....there is a common theme..and i dont read reviews till after go somewhere.

Great food and amazingly fast service! Really enjoyed my broiled scallops sandwich and potato salad! This local Yorktown gem looks to have a loyal following as it was obvious there were many "regulars" in our midst. Our server, Brandee, was very efficient and made sure our drinks were always topped off, which was very appreciated on such a warm day. Look forward to coming back!!!

This is a GREAT place - actually, this was my familys favorite restaurant on our whole two week summer vacation to VA and NC. The scallops (blackened) were insanely taaaasty. Get a beer. The staff are all super friendly. Take the free shuttle to the pub from Yorktown Battlefield Visitors Center. ALL GOOD!!!!
