I went here for a dinner meeting about a couple of weeks ago. The service was good, the food HORRIBLE and overpriced!!! The waiter brought out brown bread, which is always a favorite of mine, but this stuff was chewy and very sweet. It was also served with honey butter, again very sweet. The cream of crab might have had some crab shreds in it, but it tasted more like very thick chicken cream soup and it was bland. However, I did find some pieces of shell in mine. I decided to order the Irish stew which comes in a bread bowl. The bread was OK, but the stew was a white, floury paste with a hint of meat and some orange bits that I think was supposed to be carrot. I decided at that point I was not hungry anymore and had the waiter remove it. I decided to get some coffee. The waiter brought us each a cup and then we paid our bill. As we were still talking I was waiting for him to come back for at least a refill, but we never saw him again. Others at our table did eat their dinners, but most of us agreed we would not waste our time and money at this place in the future. I am not sure what others see in this place other than the drinks. The bar was busy, but the dining room was not. Not surprised.

This place used to be good. My family went to dine last Saturday afternoon after not eating there for about a year. We were so disappointed, we sent our food back after a couple of bites and just asked to pay for our kids meal, drinks, and app. The blarney spring rolls were still good as was our kids mac n cheese, the brown bread was ok. I got the bangers and mash and husband ordered the stew in the bread bowl. My potatoes had the taste and consistency of day old microwaved potatoes and werent very hot, the sauce that went with the bangers used to be good but seemed watered down and bland. My husbands stew which we seem to recall was closer to a light brown was white and pasty with none of the lamb flavor that he liked so much about it(again here it felt like they were trying to stretch stew made the day before by adding water and more roux, thus diluting the favor). It seems that they may have taken advantage of their popularity (of which the bar is still indeed popular and there were some older folks dining), and have begun to cut corners. Its unfortunate, they were a good place to eat in an area that is sorely lacking in decent restaurants.

As a dual citizen of Ireland and America, I am quite disappointed with the reception that is given at the front desk/telephone of the still. My daughter and I have been trying to arrange a surprise baby shower-luncheon there , but have only been met with rudeness and inhospitality on the phone. I only wish my daughter had gotten the name of the un--gaelic like young lady who did not want to be bothered and made it quite clear on the phone! We are all irish and have made it a point to have all of our irish celebrations at the still. However, I will be meeting with the manager tomorrow to discuss these issues and I will post the results of that meeting. Dr. JoAnne Duffy

The waitress and the support staff was wonderful! Sadly it all stopped there. Got the salmon which was perfectly cooked, but the creamy dill sauce was flavorless, heavy, and pasty, completely overpowering the light flavor of salmon. I know there were little green things in it, but not a scintilla of dill flavoring or odor. Not sure what it was. The cheesy risotto on which it was laid was heavy, and also pretty much flavorless. The place was SO noisy and there was some shrill repeating noise which was playing right along with the music, which I did like when I could hear it. My friend and I decided that one visit was more than enough! Sorry!

Ive been to The Stil several times for meals and also for hosted events. They have a back room that can be rented for parties/gatherings. They have brunch every Sunday with bottomless mimosas, Fun fact: The Stil looks like an authentic Irish pub because the owners went to Ireland and found repurposed irish pub decorations (doors, seating, tables, decor) and shipped it back so they could integrate it into the restaurant. It had delicious fare - the shepherds pie, bangers and mash and the fish and chips are all delicious.

We moved up the street from this place about 6 months ago and finally decided to check it out. Needless to say... Im so glad we did! They have a nice selection of beer and wine and its not crazy priced. The staff is very nice and good service, the crab dip is absolutely delicious and the burgers we got were huge and awesome. We went around 930 PM so they had a band playing some good jam music. Overall great atmosphere, food and service. Will definitely be going back

Food: Always top notch. Always prepared just how I want it. They are very flexible about changing certain things, espeically on the burgers. Service: Always well greeted up front and the bar tenders always aim to please, though they tend to get swamped pretty easily by the crowd. Atmosphere: the look of the place is fantastic but as many have said, it is a bit dark. Value: Average. Little higher than regular bars, but this isnt your average corner bar.

The Still is in my neighborhood so I am there a lot. There are a few dishes on the menu that I love. Some menu items are so so. I enjoy sitting outside on summer eves. Cool place to chill. Inside decor seems a bit artificial. Trying too hard to look like an authentic Irish Pub. Almost as if the folks at Disney designed it. Always good service. Music outside and inside is usually solid. Would recommend.

We had a great experience at the Stil last night, wonderful food and an awesome waitress Alina! She was great, friendly, and prompt; made us laugh and feel like we were regulars. We really enjoyed having her! Our food came quickly and was delicious when we got it (I highly recommend the Stout battered Brie App and Backyard BBQ burger) Definitely coming back next time.

The Dent Guys and Girls are here in town working at Valley Motors fixing the Auto Hail Damages when a local told us about this great place down the road from the dealership... Its best to have some of the great Crab cakes that we all ordered. Our waitress was great to us the 4 times we visited in 7days. .Yes we will be back for sure..

Calamari felt like it was cooked in microwave, it was burger night and I ordered stil burger. Asked for medium rare came out well done. Didnt have any water to moistened it down. Horrible food. My wife soup wasnt hot. Blarney springs rolls are listed as a stil favorite. Just average. Not the same Stil from years past.

I love the food!! They have very good portions and a authentic Irish pub feel. I visit often with an elderly friend and they are always willing to work with her portion requests which is very rare. She doesnt eat a lot and doesnt like to waste food so it makes everything easier that they are willing to do this!
