Scutter Butter

I visited this location on the Friday before Christmas and was told that morning by the waitress that the service would be a lot longer which I understood due to the holiday and school closing so I decided to bring my family back later. BIGGEST MISTAKE of our lives! The manager who is a tall thin bald guy watched us stand to be seated for 20 mins and NEVER said a word. I had to go and get them to be seated. The waiter was a young male who was pretty nice but the food was another story. The bacon was burnt plus fatty and the ham smelled like it had set out ALL NIGHT AND DAY BEFORE!!! Im the cook of my entire family and I know what bad meat smells like. WE had another family say to us on our way in, GOOD LUCK!!! DO NOT EVER bring your family here to eat. The place was DIRTY AND the food was HORRIBLE. Lets not continue to speak on the management. One star shouldnt be given but I had to in order to post. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and a health inspector.

HVery difficult to actually get to. It is attached to a hotel. They do not have bathrooms. You have to go to the hotel. It took a total of 8 minutes before a bus boy noticed I was standing waiting to be seated. My waitress was very awkward. while looking at the menu she stood awkwardly at my table till I looked at here. When I looked at her she says hi (long pause) Im your waitress I said ok. She then said after another awkward long pause if she can get me something to drink. I got the strawberry banana french toast. They do not put powder sugar on them nor butter. The strawberry was also frozen still in the center. The strawberry compote was very liquidy and sour. The toast itself didnt seem to have any type of egg on it. Maybe they need to soak it more. I waited long enough for my ticket that the manager came over and got my ticket for me.

The food wasnt very good. It was very flat tasting, and also was like something was missing and all I had was a short stack of pancakes. Also, it was like you were eating in a freezer, I guess they want to get you to hell out of there as fast as they could to get somebody else in and they werent that busy. It wasnt like people were waiting for a seat or anything. I actually had to go outside for about 5 or 10 minutes and come back inside and by then my food was stone cold. I was there with my mom, she had. a hamburger. And it was cold before he got halfway through it. And my coffee tasted like it was made about 6 oclock that morning, this was about one oclock in the afternoon on a Saturday. Just a guess maybe new management, I have been there before never ( Merritt Blvd. Dundalk, Md.) thit bad, but wont happen again.

So firstly i was sat at a very tiny table lol. Asked to be moved to better seating and the server had an attitude. Was moved and didnt see the server for about fifteen minutes. Once she came back with her attitude we ordered meals plus coffee and needed sugar. Waited ten minutes before we got ahold of another server who gave us sugar. Still didnt see our server. Ordered the tbone medium. Got it back medium rare/rare. Sent it back. Got again rarer then the first time lol. Manager was great though. Didnt comp us or anything for the horrible service and steak but hey we wont be back so.

I love the sweet cream cheese crepes & The Belgian waffles. The food is good but the service really needs improvement....Ive had to wait over an hour to order and because of it we walked out...Ive had to wait an hour to receive my food. I came in to the location on Merritt Blvd & waited for ever to pay. After twenty five minutes waiting to pay my bill in the front of the restaurant and ended up leaving. Noone should wait more theft five minutes to pay a bill when the other employees stood around talking. I think it was a lithe unnecessary. But the food really is good.

Went there around 5 or 6pm and the food was terrible edible but cold it seemed like the food was old, pre prepared and like it just sat there and then they heated it up.so my wife not knowing my experience took my kids around 1 or 2 in the afternoon a few days later and she felt the same way like no effort was put into it.The service on the other hand was good . Weve ordered the same meals at other locations And it was like day and night i would never go back to that ihop again

We love the food. One problem we have is since they stopped using the register up front for the patron to pay the check, there is never anyone watching the door to seat people. Once we stood there for 15 minutes and got angry and left. The other problem is that the waiters and waitress tend to disappear for long periods of time or stand in a closed off section of booths and talk about other employees and customers in ear shot of the customers.

Where to start, had to wait 20 minutes to get seated n next to nobody there! Could never fimd my waitress, had to get my own silver ware off n empty table, n was given n empty bottle of ketchup, then had to get my own from another table! I will never go there again n hope they tear it down n rebuild with people that want to work!

My family goes at least once per month. I always try to get the same waitress but dont always remember. Depending on the cook, the food can be very good. I sit near the kitchen to avoid all the people on their cell phones. I dont have any major complaints. My favorite waitress is Lola and the rest of them...Id rather not say.

Tiffany was wonderful. She was friendly and provided fast and accurate service. A smile is a nice way to start your breakfast. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The tables where all clean and set. The carpet was vacuumed. The food was cooked perfectly to my order. I had a very enjoyable time and will be returning.

Its your basic breakfast chain restaurant. This location is just like every other IHOP. Food is good, service is okay and the location is convenient. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served all day. There are good discounts and coupons to help save money and make it a great cheap eats location.

AWSOME owner - manager is vert nice and respectful. Staff is nice & curtious. I had the peanut butter & chocolate french toast with the ultimate breakfast. Yummy. Mom & Emma got free short atacks. Cant beat that, plus there collecting for cancer. We pledged $20.00 in honor of our family

I used to go to here. I found out they dont even have a stove. Everything is micowaved no cooks needed here all food comes already cooked. Nasty food if you are diabetic the sodium will kill you. Nasty dried up microwaved meal. You can get this from a food store and cook it yourself

When I went there not 2 long ago I had pancakes and a omllet. My pancakes was cold and it took 4ever for them 2 wait on me. But I did like the meat lovers omllet. But having cold pancakes was a no no. Especially because thats why I went. Smh.
