I was visiting family in Tracys Landing and my brother told me about this sushi spot. My husband finally got a chance to escape the family activities and we headed over to Umai. We were the only patrons in the restaurant and I will say it was quiet nice. The owner was very attentive to us, gave us a lot of info on the imported beer from Japan and was very friendly. The service was quick and the sushi was oh so fresh! We tried a couple of rolls and nigiri (yellow tail and salmon). The sushi was so fresh that it felt like it melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend Umai.

A hidden gem. The best places are the ones you never expect to find. While the building is unassuming, the sushi is fantastic and the staff is wonderful. The owner also keeps beautiful photos of her children receiving medals on the wall, reminding everyone that family is a big deal.

Great little sushi house in Deale. The fish is fresh, rolls and sushi taste great. Very reasonable prices with rolls around $10 depending on what you order. The owners and workers are very nice and happy to talk. Stopped by while we were on vacation and were pleasantly surprised.

Must have been unlucky or else this place has gone massively downhill. The service was poor, the atmosphere was trashy and the food was terrible. The sushi rolls were soggy and tasteless and fell apart when you tried to eat them. Hoping they dont make me ill

Great food, warm and friendly service, there is always a modest waiting for your food buts its always delicious! Seriously though the wait can be a little rough if youre not used to it. Lol but everything else about the place outshines that one set back.

This is a GREAT restaurant. The decor is a bit cluttered, but the food is outstanding and service very attentive and polite. It is as good as or better than the Annapolis Sushi hang-outs, which I also frequent ;-) Right here in Deale! Amazing.

This place is great! Hands down the best Sushi Ive ever had. The Godzilla rolls are amazing. Friendly service and a nice comfortable looking restaurant that made me wish we had been eating there instead of just doing take-out.

The food is so awesome, we ordered just about everything and all was great, so fresh and delicious!! The service was equivalent to a five star resturant. We are footies and will be going back. So delicious!!!

Great service and excellent sushi. This place is a gem and we are glad its in Deale. We always traveled to Annapolis for sushi but havent in 2 years. Now they serve beer and I wish I could add a sixth star.
