Since it opened last year, my fiancé and I have come here at least once a month. Being from Texas, I am hard to please with Mexican food. I really enjoy this place! Their beef and shrimp fajitas are both wonderful, marinaded and cooked perfectly. That, in my opinion, is not where they shine though. Their corn tamales and Tres Leches cake are the best I have had out of Texas! I am not a flan person, but my fiancé is and really likes theirs. Their specials are worth a try too. I had a sea bass special last month that was delicious. Perfectly cooked again! The prices are higher than your neighborhood "El Churro," but the same as Chevys. At Azteca though you get a proper portion for the price, with MUCH better flavor. A "must try" if you love real Mexican food.

Have had a good experience dining in, however the most recent take-out order was lacking what was supposed to be included in the order (no sour cream & no guacamole). Chile relleno was mostly just fried bread with no discernible pepper. The same held true with the chicken enchilada. Maybe this was just a bad night for them, or take-out customers are not expected to check their food until they get home, by which time it will be too late to correct the order. Dont know but be forewarned.

Lunch for three in a pleasantly cool dining room. The buffet offers a very crisp salad, three entrees: beef enchiladas, stewed chicken, tender spiced pork chops; several sides such as vegetable gnocchi, pasta with veggies, rice & beans, Pico de Gallo, and a hearty soup. For dessert, choices include lemon cookies, bite size pastries and a fresh fruit salad. The wait staff are friendly, helpful ladies.

This spot is not noticeable from the road.... Looks older and maybe run down... But, once you get inside its nice. Went here for Sunday brunch and it was really, surprisingly good! There was excellent live music... The food was quite tasty! They had an omelette bar and fresh made waffles! Loved it! The service was great as well. Look forward to going again soon!

The food is amazing - I have only been three times but Ive never had a bad meal (and Ive tasted a number of dishes)! The service is wonderful and they treat you like family. Their margaritas are off the chain good, and so are their piñacoladas! EVERYTHING is wonderful about this place, cannot say it enough.

Favorite local restaurant! Food is great and staff are welcoming and friendly! Great service and clean, family or couples night out, a great place with a friendly atmosphere! Reasonably priced and lots of options on the menu and always accept substitutions, as I dont eat beans and rice!

I love this place. The food is a few bucks more than their competition but its freaking worth it. Delicious food and I always get full. Me and my dad come her at least once a week. The staff is always so welcoming and nice. Great service and food. Its barely ever packed. Foods never late.

I agree with Ayiraolayinka that Food, Service, Atmosphare and Values are all good. We visited as a family and enjoyed their food (All were very good, especially Camaron Azteca in the sea food menu was outstanding!) and Joses (our waiter) services.

I was visiting the DC area and met a friend and ate dinner here. The food was delicious no the atmosphere was nice. I highly suggest the frozen mango margaritas. I had the vegetarian fajitas. The portion size was huge.

Its the best Mexican in the area. I used to go to Chevys before Azteca opened but havent been back since. Their food is fresher and more authentic, for the same price. It also has Modelo on draft which is rare to find.

Love this place!! My hubby and I have tried out LOTS of Mexican restaurants in the area and have finally decided that this is just the best place to go. Great services, fantastic drinks, and the food is always good!

This is one of the only Mexican restaurants in this area that is consistently great. Service and quality is amazing perfection. The margaritas are... OMG... Sip slow! My fav spot. Coming back.

I ordered the shrimp and crab chimichanga. The shrimp was fine...the crab...not so much...there were crab shreds...there was more cabbage and carrots than actual crab and shrimp.
