Came in as a group of 5 ladies into the empty restaurant. Had a really rough experience ordering drinks and then all but one coming out incorrect after a long time. The margaritas werent blended all the way and at first didnt have any alcohol. The man and woman making the drinks didnt seem to have any system nor want to explain. I was the only one to order food & the cheese pupusas were excellent. My drink - a pina colada - was the only one that was correct but it took over 30 min for everyone to get drinks. Unfortunate since we were all hungry, they could have made much more $$$ plus a big tip as we are all bartenders/event planners who love to reward great service.

I got dinner here with two friends and we all liked our food. The food is simple but well-prepared. The service was good too. The only disappointment was that they didnt have pollo asado even though its advertised so well on the sign outside that we thought that was the name of the restaurant lol

The food is great and affordable. Best Peruvian food Ive found in NW actually. The AC doesnt work in the summer and the occasional drunk tends to drive into the storefront late at night, but the food is a delight. The service is friendly and the TV is usually tuned to futbol.

One of my favorite restaurants in DC. Small local spot in Petworth with great food, service and prices. The Camerones al Ajillo is the best in the city!! The Guacomole with fresh made tortilla chips is very good too...

Oh the food is soo good, without fail. Service is phenomenal. Perfect spot for a bite. More people need to know about this place. Its the bomb.
