I stopped by the Cheesecake factory with my sister to get a few slices to go and the experience was awful. The guy ringing us up clearly did not know how to use the register so he stood there for 10 minutes not saying a word while I held out cash to pay, he just continued to ignore me and fumble on the computer, then he just walked away without saying a word. Fortunately he came back with a manager who helped him but not even the manager acknowledged our presence or explained the issue. So after she helped him she walked away, we finished paying and then stood there waiting, the guy that rung us up didnt say anything else to us he just sat there and believe it or not he started to text on his phone right in front of us. It didnt look like anybody was preparing the order but we continued to wait. Eventually a women shows up and starts to put together orders (we still werent sure if it was our order) but as we waited multiple servers pushed through us to pick up orders for tables. Then the woman working behind the counter starts eating as she works and then she just walks away and starts talking to some guy (dont know who he was or if he worked there but apparently she needed to talk to him instead of do her job). Meanwhile the kid at the register is just standing behind the register staring into space because apparently he wasnt trained to put a slice of cake into a box. Eventually a man approaches us who appears to be a manager and asks if weve been helped. He asks us for the name our order was under, the cashier didnt ask for our name, so we had to dig out our receipt just to show him what we had ordered, so he jumps behind the counter and starts to help put the order together. By the way another family who arrived 10 minutes after us got their cake and left before we had even been approached by the manager. Eventually we got our order. We wanted to just get our money back and leave but we knew that would probably be far too difficult for the people working there plus at that point, I think we had earned some cheesecake. It basically seemed like nobody there cared if they kept their job or not. The whole experience actually made my sister late for work. Terrible, terrible experience.

One of the items my dad always buy from Costco is the boxed Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake. He eats it fresh out of the box, straight from the freezer (yep frozen cheesecake), and sometimes even with his bare hand. Hes one of the biggest cheesecake fanatics I know! Little did he know that it is branded after an actual restaurant. For one of our father/daughter dinner date, I knew I had to show him theres more to the world than plain cheesecake! Before we dived right into desserts, we did have a proper, ginormous dinner - mac and cheese burger and pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. For a chain restaurant, Im very impressed by Cheesecake Factory! The burger/sandwich were well made (plus on quantity, plus on the quality too). The burger patty was juicy, the layer of fried mac and cheese was gooey and crunchy - I wasnt surprised that my dad devoured the entire burger in one seating. My pulled pork sandwich - perfectly toasted bun, saucy delicious meat on top of meat, topped with their creamy Cole Slaw - forget trying to save room for dessert! And did I mention their sweet potato fries were fried perfectly? One of the best sweet potato fries Ive had - straight from the fryer and yet not one bit greasy! We wrapped our dinner date by sharing the perfect treat - Godiva chocolate cheesecake - 3 combined layers of perfection: brownie cake, chocolate mousse, and Godiva cheesecake. We polished the plate clean! With so many cheesecake options to choose from, my dad is now convinced to make a weekly outing to Cheesecake Factory to have one of each!

(Updated on 3/23 - results at end) Normally, with the many choices and dessert, this is an easy go to place. However, this was the worst experience Ive ever had at a Cheesecake Factory. On 3/15, they were busy - not unlike other "factories," but we placed our order. The follow through of our waiter was suspect. Despite not asking us if we wanted our kids food first, he put it in that way. The real issue was the steak orders of my wife and I. The kids food came, we got steak knives, and then proceeded to wait about 45 minutes until we reached the next milestone. The next milestone was me getting up to inquire about our food. To give them some points, I met the manager on the way to our table. But...lets score this: no word from our waiter...and I had to get up. At this point, some may be asking, did you get anything out of this? Was our wine free? Did we receive anything off our bill? --NO! We were passing through on our way home from a day skiing in PA. Kids were tired and our patience had been worn thin. I suggested the manager should have done something, but he made a slight overture while the rest of my family was on the way out the door. Heres hoping your experience is better under a different manager. 3/23: I got a call from the general manager. She wanted to get to the bottom of the bad experience we had. I phoned her back and we talked. Shes processing some compensation on our behalf. Thats why Ive put the rating up to 3 stars from 1.

I do not want to give a one star even. IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE AND EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING TO HAVE MY ORDER AT THIS Cheesecake Factory!!!! Which I ordered for togo at 10:18 pm today. I have been told to wait 15 mins for what I ordered; Santa Fe salad, two Iced coffee, and a strawberry cheese cake. I waited for over 30 minutes and I asked for my order to a guy at the front desk who took the order. He said "they are packing right now", then he walked to the kitchen starating to pack my food. He gives me a one big bag with my Santa Fe Salad in it without fork, and no napkins nothing. After he tossed me a bag, started to make Iced coffee, also gives me without cup holder and no straws. I walked out almost 10:50 pm. I am very disappointed with such a bad quality service. I would go to McDonald rather this Cheesecake Factory. It is a cheaper, faster, and enough. Additionally, I took pictures of the bag and receipt to prove that my story is for REAL. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

THE WORST!!!! I ORDERED THE FRIED SHRIMP PLATTER AND WHEN THE WAITER BROUGHT IT OUT I NOTICED THAT ALL OF THE SHRIMPS WERE BURNT AND AFTER TASTING ONE. I COULD TASTE THE BURNT TASTE. I THEN HAD TO WAVE MY WHITE HANDKERCHIEF TO GET THE WAITERS ATTENTION. AND HE CAME OVER SAT TO THE LEFT OF ME AND SAID IS THE SHRIMP TO BURNT? I ALMOST CURSED HIM OUT BECAUSE IF YOU KNEW THEY WERE BURNT WHY WOULD YOU BRING THEM OUT. THEN THE MANAGER COMES TO THE TABLE AND ASK IF EVERYTHING IS OKAY MY WIFE SAYS THE SHRIMPS WERE BURNT. HE THEN SAYS WITH A DAMN SMILE OH YEAH I SAW THEM IN THE BACK. IM LIKE WHAT IN THE HELL??? THEN HE SAYS DO YOU WANT ANYTHING ELSE?? I STARTED TO SAY HELL NO BUT ITS MY WIFE BIRTHDAY AND WE CAME TO CELEBRATE HER BIRTHDAY SO I JUST SAID NO. BECAUSE IF THREE PEOPLE SEEN BURNT FOOD GOING OUT AND NOBODY STOPS AND SAYS THAT THE FOOD NEEDS TO RETURN BEFORE IT GETS TO CUSTOMER THEN I DONT WANT IT!!! THANKS FOR ALL THREE OF THEM RUINING MY WIFE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!!!!
