Been to this place many times and have had a good time. Yesterday I tried to call to see if I could bring a cake in and got hung up on twice. Got there and was told I could bring it in but they had to check if sparkler candles were allowed (its a hookah bar, there are already dozens of burning coals). Waitress told us that everyone had to either order food or drinks. wtf? Had to get up two or three times to get the attention of the waitress so I could order food and drinks, made me feel like I was taking from her time. Ordered Arroz con Pollo (chicken with rice) and water which took 20 minutes to receive (bottle of water which I didnt specify for $5!). Besides the lousy service we were all having a good time, pretty good hookah fun music. Got the bill and on top of the usual party gratuity added there was a $35 cake service charge! WE brought the cake in and cut it our self! Asked the waitress about it and she said it was because everyone didnt order food or drinks; it freaking says cake service! (there were some people that came in just to say happy birthday and we were being charged for them). After the waitress called the birthday girl a B**** and a verbal fight started, the manager was brought in and tried to explain that it was because they brought plates and a knife to the table. After much discussion he gave many different explanations on why we were charged, "there wasnt a cover charge at the door" "its $15 dollars per person to sit at the table". After arguing for a while we just wanted to get out and went back to the table to pay, two different times a different server came up and watched us as we gathered and counted the money. Then as we were leaving she told the bouncer to hold us so she could, as she said, "let me count my money to make sure they paid" (B**** you didnt even serve us!). Even if youre just going in to dance (watch out for the cover charge on weekends) there are always sleazy lowlifes here which is why the bouncer has to carry handcuffs and a gun! Bottom line theyre a rip off and all rude!! OUR GROUP IS NEVER COMING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN! YOU SHOULDNT EITHER.

Ive been come to this cafe for years and for the most part its a nice environment but today I can honestly say worst place Ive ever been. The way I was treated was beyond terrible. I can to the cafe alone while I was there I seen some familiar faces who wanted a table I went to my favorite waitress and ask if she could find a spot for 4 ppl not including me and she did. Later that night when they left the waitress came to me and told me "your friends left without paying" I told her it had to be a mistake and I will call them back. While I was trying to reach The acquaintances the staff basically forced me in the kitchen and took my ID and Credit Card and charged without my permission lucky it was an expired card which did go through. I wasnt even allowed to leave the kitchen to seen if they ppl who skipped the bill had come back to pay for it. While that was going on the had call the police to come arrest me. Finally my acquaintance showed up and paid the money in full. And explain that there was actually a misunderstanding. Cash amount had been given to one of the four individuals who said at the table to make the payment and unfortunately some people cant be trusted they took the money for themselves. Which I had no knowledge of because I never sat at the table with the four. Babylon Staff Is Terrible!!! I Never Forget their so called Kindness. But I like to apologize to the wonderful waitress who nothing wrong and in fact she was beyond generous.

I had a tap opened at a table with my girlfriend. I stepped out to answer a call because the music was loud inside. When I returned to the entrance the bouncers and the doorman wont let me in unless I pay another $20 cover charge. All the bouncers including the light skin dude who kept checking out my girlfriend the entire time denied that I was already inside the spot. In the mean time my girlfriend is sitting at the table by herself waiting for me to return. Finally my waitress happened to pass by in front of the bouncers and I was able to waive her to witness that I wasnt trying to get over for 20 bucks. Management just a kindly suggestion, you need to have an efficient re-entry system or people might duck out in situations like mine.

As you can probably see just by looking at me, I am not a party person, but one day when I went here with my GFs I had a night of exceptions and just entering this place was the first. The first thing I noticed was everyone was really... well pumping haha. The atmosphere was contagious and I started feeling my blood rushing after a few minutes. The drinks were a little pricey but after a few you forget about it... and yes thats a bad thing but not on that night haha. A combination of music, friends and drinks made for a great night and I have this place to thank for that.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! THE WORST NIGHT LIFE EXPERIENCE EVER! TRUST ME! Took almost a half hour to get the bar tenders attention and the drinks were watered down and over priced. The music selection was horrible and catered to a particular crowd. We asked for hookah and they said no but it was an hour before last call! Also the owner was rude and the security harassed us and called us explicit names for NO REASON. Ive never experienced such prejudice and discrimination in a single establishment. I would avoid this business at all costs! Save 10 min and go to DC.

Few years ago Babylon Futbol Cafe was a good place to hang out on Tuesday nights for Arabic music. Until their bartenders started acting bossy and unprofessional with customers. The worse one is named José, now he acts like he owns the place. He disrespects and behave mean especially towards single women. For example he will ask to hold Credit Cards from women sitting alone at the bar but he will let couples, men and others pay at the end without bothering them to pay at first drink order.

Went on what was supposed to ba reggae night. Only played a few reggae songs towards last call. I get that its a hookah bar but people were openly smoking cigarettes and cigars, even on the dance floor. Its a very small space so getting burned was a concern. And there were a few people almost having sex on the dance floor.

Been here several times so far never had a problem with them. Food is OK for what it is; a sports bar that let you smoke cigar, cigarette and hookah. They are having a cigar event today. So understand the world you are getting into. A sports that does all of the above and a pickup bar. If want go somewhere else.

Specified house vodka in our drink orders, bill came with top-shelf on it. Claimed it was a mistake b/c it was our waitress first night and that she had been bringing us the good stuff all along. Certainly didnt taste like it, and Im pretty sure the same girl had been our server the week before.
