This is the closest Sonic to us, and with all the tantalizing commercials and great reviews, we decided to make the trip. Packed everyone in the car, drove the hour and a half to the Hanover Sonic. Our order came fairly quickly I guess, about 10 to 12 minutes. We ordered a range of foods, from hot dogs to bacon cheese on texas toast; and when our food finally arrived it was cold and soggy. Imagine our disappointment! The drinks werent bad, for flavored slushies. Overall if you live 5 min from this place, you might consider it for a moment before just giving in and going to McDonalds. Teh suck!

The first time I went here (about 2 years ago) we never got our food so we left and went to Ryans across the street. That left a bad impression so I went back with my wife last week and we were very impressed! The service was OUTSTANDING and my double bacon cheeseburger was better than McDonalds by a long-shot! The fries were undercooked and lacked any crisp though. I was told they have better tots. I also got watermelon iced tea and it was very refreshing! The best part was the 1.99 one size Hot Fudge Sundae. VERY good and a great portion size. Recommended for date night!

Anyone who talks bad about the Sonic in Hanover is wrong! They have the best Cheeseburgers and the boneless wings in my opinion are better than B-dubs and at one time were hotter before they changed flavors still great wings though. They have daily specials that make it possible for me to feed a family of 5 for a great price. If there is any issues with anything there they will go above and beyond to make it right. Excellent Job Hanover Sonic!

Worst food ever, slooooow service. Went through the drive through and must have waited atleast 15 minutes. Only went after seeing a commercial for new hot dogs. Both hot dogs tasted gross and left a bad taste in my mouth long after finished. The onion rings were equally nasty and left a bad smell in my house which lingered all night. I will not ever be going back and I have no idea how the place is even still in business.

Weve eaten at Sonics in several states. Hands down, this one is the best. I know youre not going to travel to Hanover PA just to go to a Sonic. Just know, theyve offered the best service compared to other Sonics. They even come to your vehicle to see if you need extra napkins or whatever. We eat at this location whenever we travel to Hanover. (my wife loves the tots)

If youre not from the area and love sonic this is the closest one around for many miles. Other than that theres really no reason to go here. Its not a bad place and Ive never had bad service, but its never wowed me either. Ive tried other sonics out of state and theyve been both better and worse than this location.

The numbers on the bottom of the receipt, will get you a free route 44 soda. In the mornings the rt.44 drinks are only .99. The food is great and with special deals can be a inexpensive evening. Would recommend this place for any meal. The staff always have smile.

I dont mind waiting for food, fresh is best. But when Im told 5 min for boneless wings, not only did I wait 17 min in the drive-thru, but I watched an employee walk food to cars behind me. Its happened 3 times now, once when I ordered a hot dog.

I love their drinks but some of the food is extremely salty. Dont expect to get through drive thru in less than 10 minutes if theres more than 2 cars in front of you.
