This is quite possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever had the displeasure of stomaching. When I arrived at this dingy restaurant I overlooked the fact that they did not accept credit cards. I even thought to myself "This food must be really good..no credit cards??" I ordered the shrimp and broccoli combination platter. The shrimp and broccoli and the egg roll were cooked right there. However, I sat down to make an important call so I took my eyes off of the cooks. When I received my food I dug into the shrimp and broccoli first. While it left a bit to be desired, it was tolerable..it wouldnt win any prizes flavor-wise but hey I was hungry. That being said, I was not hungry enough to eat that cold, under-cooked, flavorless, sorry excuse for pork fried rice. It tasted old like it had been cooked last week, stored, and reheated. When I approached the counter and politely told the woman what was wrong with my rice. I asked her to make me some fresh rice. She said OK..and got some more from a bin on the counter. I did not want to push the issue too much as these people were handling my food. I thought well maybe they just made a fresh batch before I got there. I was sadly mistaken. The new rice was slightly hotter and this time it tasted burnt. Rather than return my food again I decided to write one of my detailed reviews. I tried to overlooked the dated payment system, the lack of choices including a few select cans of soda, dirty red lunch trays, etc. What I cannot overlook is lack of customer service and giving the customer what they pay for. I would not suggest anyone eat here and I hope that I dont wake up with a stomach bug.

Im not giving them a 1 star rating because of the food being nasty (because I really like their egg foo yung), but because of the service. Within the last few visits Ive made, their service has declined. This last time sealed it. I call and place an order for the egg foo yung dinner special. The dinner special comes with egg foo yung, chicken and broccoli, 2 egg rolls and I believe 2 sodas all for $9.93. So I called to order this and she says okay and I also ordered a hot and sour soup. She says, "10 minutes" My boyfriend and I arrive in about 15 minutes and I look in the bag and it is only the egg foo yung, but with fried rice and the hot and sour soup and she charged me $9.62. So Im like there are some things missing. I ordered the dinner special. She says, you have to say on the wall. Now there are absolutely no dinner specials on the menu so clearly thats what Im referring to. Anyways, she then trys to tell me that I said, "combination" why would I order the combination when for a couple of dollars more I can get basically an extra meal?! Im like no I said dinner special. So my boyfriend actually knows the owners and they know him and his family. So he asks can we get the other things on the dinner special and pay the few dollars more. They say no because everything is already hot and made. So we say we will wait. Its not that big of a deal. So basically they just continue to say that theyre not going to do it. So, I asked for my money back and we left and went elsewhere. Do not go here. I liked the food, but from the reviews, many people do not. Their service has gone down tremendously over the years.

Ive gone here locally for about 8 years. The food is really, really good. I dont understand why so many people are disappointed with the food, Ive eaten at fancy chinese restaurants, buffets, take out, everything. If at all critical I would say there food is average at worst. Also the prices are the best value for chinese. It mystifies me when people give a place like this 1 star because Ive eaten here for years. Am I really so lucky, and this 1 time you go there it happens to be horrible? Whatever...! The place used to be really nice when their was some sort of decoration but it has lost most of the chinese artwork it had on the walls. (why take it down?) The cashier lady is probably the biggest downfall the place has, she is rather dour and uncommunicative. She does her job fine though besides occasionally giving you a large order when you wanted a small. If people dont specify, they want a normal size... Her English is pretty bad. She understands when you ask not to include certain ingredients though. The singapore noodles, the shrimp w black bean sauce, theyve all been good to me over the years. The head cook is a nice guy, he always says hi to me and knows I come there for years. Besides the Cashier and the lack of any chinese decoration displayed in its store, its a really nice place to get Chinese.

Ive never bothered to write a review before, but wow! I felt the need to warn people of this place. I orderd Kung Pao chicken. I couldnt eat more than a few bites. I have never had food that was so soaked in oil and completely tasteless. Almost as if no spices were even used. Even the rice - which was an odd shade of yellowish brown - had no taste save for oil. I also had their hot and sour soup, which - again - had absolutely no flavor. I tried adding salt and vinegar, but could not salvage it.I have to agree with other reviewers - the place was very grotty. I should have known better, but I was so hungry...

We did not enjoy our meal here. Our first sign should have been how dirty the floors and tables were, but we ordered anyway. They dont take cards, so you have to have cash, which they dont tell you up front. So I had to walk over to the grocery store and get cash out. My wife said the cooking area was pretty dirty too. Then, when we got home to eat it, the food didnt have much flavor, the chicken texture wasnt what you normally get at a chinese take out, and it was over all pretty gross. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It amazes me that they are still in business.

I hope they improve in the future, but last time we ate here, we were all severely underwhelmed. The chicken was inedible - just an amorphous, under cooked, pulpy mass. And what was supposed to be a spicy pepper sauce was super sugary and bright nuclear orange, with no spice to taste at all. I really want the restaurant to take all of the constructive criticism here to heart, but until such point, we will not be returning.

Good food ..skilled chef.... I had the Moo Shu Pork and it tasted great. Seasoned and cooked just like other places across the country Ive had it before. The hot n sour soup was slightly different (a few ingredients) than what Ive had in other places but it might have been regionalized to the local flavor. The soup was still ok. I would eat here again!

The staff has no manners! Every time I call to place an order no matter what I get they always say "Ten minutes!" And hang up before I can even say thank you and I know theyre not busy because they cant even afford to accept cards so you have to pay in cash, they also dont have silverware, just plastic forks and spoons in buckets!
