This was tough. Food was great but the delivery was a new one on me. The driver called me and said he was outside. I opened the door barefoot and saw him sitting in his car scrolling through whatever on his phone. Then he looks up expectantly. And I realize he wants me to come to the car. So I shut the door and go put my shoes on unable to comprehend this. This by the way is the first time this has happened to me in 36 years of getting delivery. I come back outside and he is now coming around the car, likely thinking I washed my hands of him. Then, get this, he gestures to the car and says something about how he cant park in a frustrated manner. But hes in the parking on my street, like he is parked, but also half in the road, a busy thoroughfare, when he could have easily parked but I guess he had some hot take on social media to riff off real quick. And it wasnt raining. So the trip to get my shoes gave me a sec to peel his tip out of the money I had ready and toss it behind the door Not sure about ever ordering again. We were really looking for a good spot since moving here awhile back and this def would have been it. Real shame.

I love this place! Ive been eating here since I was little and its the only place that is always consistant on taste and quality. New Bamboo House is the most delicious food Ive ever had!! I bought some for a party in Severna Park and now thats the only Chinese food my friends up there will eat. Even my dad loves it and he hates any kind of oriental food

Weve been patronizing New Bamboo House for over 25 years and never had a bad meal. It appears theyve been sold to new owners and they either didnt purchase the recipes or are really bad at implementing them. The fried rice is now flavorless and the chicken has a funny taste. Very sad to lose the best Chinese place around.

For the most part their food is really good, only once in a blue moon I may get a not so good meal. Most recently the foods Ive gotten have been extra good.. the Hot & Sour soup and Pork Fried Rice were perfect, as was the Shrimp Too Young. I go there frequently; theyre one of my faves!

Ive been ordering from Bamboo House for many years. Food is always fresh and delicious. Their place is clean and is a open kitchen so I can see them cook. Definitely will recommend this restaurant.
