This place is AMAZING!!! My husband I were in Presque Isle for work this past week and happily stumbled into this place the first night we were in town. We were so blown away by our cocktails and entrees that we returned every night that week! The farm to table approach to cooking is phenomenal! Every meal is made to order and packed with incredible flavor! A few of our favorites -- filet mignon, salmon, seafood bake, baked brie, crab cakes, and the tiramisu! As for drinks -- dirty martini, gin blossom, and the nasty woman will definitely hit the spot! If you find yourself in northeast Maine, do yourself a favor and stop in, you wont be disappointed!! More over, if you dropped this restaurant into a big city it would definitely rise to the top. We arent quite sure this town knows what it has, but we sure do and well definitely be back!

The Sorpresso is a class restaurant with every detail looked after. From an interested owner to a fantastic staff to great food to tasteful decorating to wonderful teacups. The chef uses fresh local food whenever possible, much of it from the school farm. Fruits in season are featured in creative desserts. The International Menu once monthly should not be missed-where else does an owner allow her staff to research, collaborate, and create? I am Canadian and seldom visit the US without eating here.

Place is nice better than the other places in Presque Isle. The waitress is nice but unfortunately there is only one waitress/bartender and one cook so if you want to wait an hour to get your food this is not the place for you. Plating looks really good but the food is not worth the price. Its way overpriced. They need to hire more cooks and waitresses especially on weekends. We were really disappointed we wanted to walk out but we didnt want to be rude. We wont be returning here again.

Had to wait 45mins for my meal, restaurant only had 5 customers and 12 that had just came in as a group waitress never stop by to say anything, by the time food came, I had to wrap it to go because my meeting was approaching and I had to go, my order didnt meet my price or quality expectations. Table service was poor.

Love this place! The nicest place in Presque Isle by far. Food is excellent, great choices in wine and the atmosphere is casual and classy all at the same time. Im from southern California and this reminds me of some of the great cafes we have there.

One of my favorite places for lunch or supper. I enjoy bringing visitors to our area to Sorpreso Cafe because of the wide variety of menu selections, the great service and wonderful atmosphere. Everything is always scrumptious!

Food was cold, late to our table,portion sizes of the same dish varied from person to person. Under cooked food. We waited an hour and 50 minutes for our entrees.
