We have been looking forward to trying Choco-Latte because of the great reviews. I came in shortly after opening this morning. The girl who took my order was nice enough. There wasnt many people in the shop, maybe 2 or three others. Yet, after I got my small cup of Mochaccino, I said "excuse me please" to the girl making the drinks (to ask a quick question), as she was walking, and she was very short with me and had a bad attitude. I get that she was busy making a drink at that moment, but there are nice ways of saying that you are in the middle of something and cant help me. I am a patient person and can wait until she is finished with the drink, but the attitude from her was unnecessary. She landed up telling her coworker next to her(who was also busy) to see what "that lady!" needed. All I needed was an extra cup to put my current cup inside because they dont have the brown holder that fits their small cups. It was too hot to hold on its own. On top of the bad attitude, the drink was not good and way over priced. We will not be going back.

Chocolatte is the best on many fronts. Best coffee in Bar Harbor, best coffee shop to work from, best place to meet friends, best place to find some street parking. We love Chocolatte and make a habit of stopping in whenever we are in town, and it is our go to place when we need a place to work or meet.

The blueberry Danish is a real treat! The house hot chocolate was delocious! Both these treats were perfectly balanced with regards to sweetness. While the Danish has cream cheese as a balancer, the hot chocolate had unsweetened heavy cream.

Good espresso, but sadly not served with soda water to clense the palate, and they dont even offer it as an add on purchase! (They said they did, but had to refund my purchase since they dont carry plain soda water.)

This place is legit. The guys working there are super cool and helpful. Iced coffee and magic cookie bar were great. Has a nice chill environment. Strategically located not too far from the end of the Shore Path.
