Best Indian food I have ever tasted. My family has been going there for years, and there has never been a moment in which the food wasnt impeccable, the service not amazing, and the atmosphere not authentic! I love this place and could not think of a better way to spend a day. The family that runs it are extremely nice, and they have the best rita I have ever tasted. If they were to make a cookbook, Im positive it would make millions. My mother once said she would require their food on her death bed :) Highly recommended!

I recently went to Jewel of India for the first time,recomended by a friend. i had some of the freshest natural tasting india cuisine that ive had in a while. the costumer service was excellent. and the enviroment was very cultural. Also the owner Sharma came out to greet us,and wanted to know that evrything was to our liking,(great man) i cant wait to go back!!! i give this restauraunt a 5 star.

We took our two young Kids and had an amazing meal. The Chicken Tikka is so good. The chicken curry was savory and just right in spices. My kids loved the Chicken Labadar. The best part of the meal is sharing all the dishes and sopping up the sauces with the delicous Nan Sampler. Our only complaint was the service was not attentive but we cant wait to go back and try more tempting meals

The service was terrible! They did not make what we ordered and never came back to fix it. We had to get up from the table and talk to them so we could get what we needed. We were the only group in the restaurant so it was not like they were busy. The food was bland and tasteless which I didnt even know was possible with Indian food. I will go back to this place again!

Person who waited on me was nice and I liked my tea. However, food was mediocre, and like another reviewer said, overpriced for the quality. Rice portion was a little on the small side--but maybe most diners dont mind that. Tablecloth had food stains and debris where it hung down on the side on both sides of the table.

Paste Magazine just posted an article about Portland, reminding me that I never reviewed this restaurant, which had the best paneer makhani on the planet. It was so good that I wound up dining here five out of seven nights that I was in town. Two and a half years later, Im drooling just thinking about it.

A bit over priced for a pretty mediocre meal. The dish lacked the wonderful spices typical of Indian dishes. Had it not been for the separate container of condiment included in the take-out bag, the dish would have been tasteless. Disappointed.

My first time to an Indian restaurant. My family recently went vegan & we found plenty of options. It was so good! I look forward to eating here again!! My picky toddler loved the Aloo Paratha.
