Dont go! This place has awful service. Please take note that the past positive reviews here are from when the sweetest lady, Christine owned Chopsticks. Her name is written in many of these reviews. However there is new management, and Christine does not own this restaurant anymore. The new owners are hostile, when I simply didnt get all of my order there was no professionalism whatsoever and I felt incredibly uncomfortable, the lady was fiesty and didnt want to deal with it. I dont usually speak up but this experience was enough to write a review and humbly say I would never be back. #ourfamilymisseschristine.

I loved this place a lot. First thing is you can have authentic chinese food and the second thing is the customised dining option. You can just go and ask the chef to cook the food for you without even looking at the menu.She will serve you different varieties of food with different tastes. This is really far better than ordering chowmein or lomein whenever we go to a chinese restaurant. I strongly recommend this place. But it is really a bit expensive. It costed $45 for 4 of us but if you are looking for a good quality food just give it a shot.

First of all, to the person who said No.1 Chinese was good. No theyre not. And second, the food and service here is excellent. Their tofu, and how it is made, is the best Ive had, (and I dont like tofu). Chopsticks is usually my go-to Chinese restaurant, and I would recommend it to anyone. They can be a bit pricey, so its more of a sit-down place than an every-day place to eat.

The atmosphere is very nice. Its in a quiet area, and the service is exceptional. She made certain to check on us several times and the food came out very quickly. Several vegetarian options and all soups have a veggie broth base too. Owner was very friendly and you could see how passionate she was about her business and her customers.

Without question - some of the best food Ive ever had. The Pad Thai is TO DIE FOR - it is ridiculous how often I crave it since I had the first sweet bite! This restaurant is a gem tucked into a quiet corner - I absolutely recommend anyone try it!

Really, quite terrible. Poor service, over priced, and lack of quality. I dont know how this is so highly beloved in the Bangor area... I think it is a lack of other quality establishments, but look to Green Tea in Bangor for quality food.

By far the best Chinese food in Bangor! The couple who both own and run it are wonderful and there have been some amazing new additions to the menu since they took over. If you love Pad Thai, get ready for the best our area has to offer!

Excellent fresh local vegetables and the best tofu Ive ever had. The fare offered is varied and all is good and exactly what I look for in a Chinese restaurant. The service is friendly and I will return whenever I am near Bangor.

Just moved to Bangor and wanted to find a good Asian food place and we found it. Sooooo good. We both loved what we got. I got done Hunan beef and it was really fantastic. We are for sure coming back. Good prices too.

This is our go-to Chinese place. The food is delicious (No MSG!), the people who work there are very nice, and the food is reasonably price. If you order ahead, you can usually pick up your food within fifteen minutes.

i hated the general tsos chicken! It is so overpriced and fatty. I cant even tell what im eating. Try No 1 chinese on state street. They have low prices and the food is so good
