Sadly, I was extremely disappointed every time that I ordered from here. I tried to give multiple chances but it did not go well. The first order she did not call to talk about it like we requested then made the cake a whole week early and did not call when we did not pick it up, so she cancelled my original order. Since she cancelled the order, I did not have cupcakes for a party. We had to go hunt for someone to make cupcakes for a party that was three hours away. We cancelled the order for the cake and found someone else. We tried to order again a year and a half later. This time it was a german chocolate cake with the traditional german chocolate cake icing. We had a picture and told her exactly what we wanted. Instead of covering the cake in the traditional german chocolate cake icing she used some other icing as a base, which threw the whole flavor of the cake off. I was so disappointed and will not order from here again.

We had a Sponge Bob Birthday Party for my grandson several years ago. Sierra Dee, the owner of Sugar Love Cakes made the most remarkable Sponge Bob cake for him. Everyone was delighted with the cake. It was definitely the hit of the party. Best of all, this exact replica of Sponge Bob was delicious. Since then we have had many of Sierras King Cakes, cookies, and wonderful baked goods. Also, I am the sponsor of the National Junior Honor Society at my school. Each year for our Induction Ceremony, Sierra has provided us a beautiful and delicious cake decorated with our National Junior Honor Society emblem. Sierra definitely is a very talented and creative young lady and baker!

From the moment we first walked in the door she was willing to show us everything she could do. I was uncertain about what kind of cake I wanted, but Sierra was very friendly and helpful. She had tons of examples and a creative spirit. We ordered and received AN AMAZING CAKE for my nephews birthday party. The owner, Sierra, worked with my sister to create a cake that matched her imagination. Everyone at the party was BLOWN-AWAY by this cake. The party had a "Mad Scientist" theme, and everyone kept saying, "Weve never seen a birthday cake like that!" Fantastic Bakery! The cakes and king cakes are the best I have ever had. We ordered our sons birthday cake and it WELL exceeded our expectations. Not only are the cakes amazing, but the owner is equally amazing. You are not treated as a number, she gets to know every person and makes you feel like family. I would recommend this bakery hands down. Definitely the bast bakery in Slidell!

Sierra designed a wonderful & very delicious cake for my sons 1st birthday. The cake was everything I could have asked for and more. The feet on the cake were rice crispy treats!!!! Awesome job again Sierra and we will see you soon!

Sugar Love is our number one place for cakes, cupcakes, cookies and King Cake on a Stick. The owner is quite talented and a very hard worker. Once you try one of their cakes, etc., you will be hesitant to go anywhere else.
