hello first I want to say congratulations I am the lady that was complaining about not enough riding shopping carts but what I forgot to add and I mean With all sincerity is the store looks wonderful ....I had an opportunity to talk to Mr. Courtland whom I believe is the store manager he was courteous, smart ,very nice answered my concerns and I wanted to congratulate him on having the opportunity to promote himself and the Kroger Brand in such a positive manner they were quite busy today at the opening but I didnt come for that. I actually came to bring my mother she needs a rider but I also wanted to let you guys know how important it was for that area of demographics that you have more of those types of carts because her senior citizen group wanted to come on their bus but they also found out that you were very crowded and they understood why. .. but I know that you all would not be able to handle that crowd. Your area has several facilities for senior citizens( residential ) not to mention the smart Savvy set which many of these senior citizens are ....so again I want to thank you. We have been waiting on you to open. You are very convenient to us . I appreciate everything that the manager and several of the employees tried to do in order for me to find a riding cart ...which of course we did not Again congratulations and thank you for your service I love Kroger

Not worth a damn! This store has the worst parking lot of any grocery store in all of Memphis. You have to deal with people selfishly blocking the narrow lanes to wait for someone to back out so they can park close and not have to walk an extra 20 feet. There is barely room enough for the customer load. The lot is jam packed all day every day and the only time you can have a pleasant shopping experience without being over-run by the mindless hordes is very early in the morning or very late at night, The store itself has an awful, confusing, nonstandard layout that makes actually doing any shopping much more difficult than it should be. As is the case with most everywhere in Memphis, the cashiers are surly and slow, the customers are never ready to pay, the checkout lines are always backed up and it almost makes you want to go hungry or subsist on fast food. Thats how awful the experience at this store is. If I need food during the day I will pay more and buy items from the limited selection at the Rite Aid across the street, eat McDonalds, or simply do without. This is how much I hate going to this store.

OMG. The crazy people fighting over parking is worth it all. This isnt a grocery store, its a tiny little village in the heart of midtown. Beyond traditional groceries, youll find a deli, hot food sections, a BBQ restaurant, a juice bar, a beer growler section, a salad bar, sushi, Chinese food and more! The store is laid out to perfection, the staff is well-trained and I just love the overall excitement surrounding this newly renovated grocery store. I go there for lunch. I love their deli sandwiches. I get the hot turkey on rye with lettuce and tomato. They throw in potato chips and you get a fountain drink for just under $10. Secret tip: There are two checkout counters right next to the deli so you dont have to go to the regular line to pay. They thought of everything. Try this place at least once!

I live right next to this location and in the countless times Ive been, I have had very few incidents that would make my review any lower. The staff is friendly and helpful, the lines are a bit long I do have to admit, but overall, with a Kroger Card(s) and/or coupons everything is affordable. When you add that last topic to the over-baked pastries/breads and the close-out section and the sale items, if you know how to look and have been shopping for at least 2 years on a budget you know how to look for them, if you dont know then just calmly ask the employee, they will, most likely, help.

Is it much better than the old one? Yes, by leaps and bounds. But there is no where near enough parking space to accommodate the customers. The parking lot is a total nightmare. The store itself is just okay. I never did see a health food/organic section like the other stores have..... I couldnt get out of there fast enough.... Too many people and not enough space to move around without feeling cramped and rushed......i will probably avoid shopping here. I would rather drive a couple of miles and shop where i dont have to deal with so many negatives.

Went to check out Thurs. at midnight. Not one lane was open. One lady was having to help everyone check out their own groceries. Ive never used the self checkout and dont intend to. I have to carry out all my groceries at midnight while employees stand in the parking lot just watching. One was nice enough to tell me not to forget to put my basket in the area they go in. Gee, how kind!! Oh, yes, Im 75 years old. I was looking forward to this new store on Poplar in midtown ,Memphis to open. Wow, was I disappointed!!!!

Great store..the location is great for the folks of midtown. Salad bar, Corkys bbq, sushi/noodle bar, growler station, cheese shop, Starbucks, sandwich shop, pizza shop, juce bar, USDA Prime steaks in the display case, I mean everything! People complain about the parking, but it is much better than before. There was only so much space available in that space on Union with residential neighborhood behind it and streets on both sides. My suggestion, go early or late or just deal with the crowd. It is what it is.

I love the small size of the store. While they improved the store itself, they didnt do much for the parking. God forbid you have a Tesla or something youd like to charge while shopping. Those spots are constantly occupied by lazy, inconsiderate whoopty-driving a-holes. Due to the parking & the general inability of Memphis drivers to park like normal people, it is HIGHLY recommended that you stay away from this location during peak business hours. I DO like that it stays open until 1 am.

Clerk returns and reopens her register in Line 1.; immediately walks over and attempts to take the grocery cart in front of me while that customer was getting check out. I told her I can come to her line. Notice the clerk throwing my family packages of meat (2); asked did the conveyer belt not work, she replied I havent turned it on "yet". She proceeds to throw a frozen pizza and after I asked her to placed my groceries back in the cart. I checked myself out. Will not return.

clean a quaint life with a great variety of different items to choose from the food is fresh most of the time and the products are reasonably priced also they have great customer service the only problem I see with this place is the owls are too close together and the parking lot is too small other than that I prefer to go there Walmart because you treated better you treated like a customer that deserved or needed as a business not like a number or a dollar
