We have been there many times for breakfast. Breakie with a bloody Mary on Mardi Gras morning. Heaven. The biscuits are great. The breakfast go-cup is what we get on our parade day. We ride with the Krewe of Tucks. The bartender said " I make the best bloody Mary you will ever have." And it was. Honestly. Love the people we have met. All the dogs we have petted. The parade of crazies and costumes on Mardi Gras morning is not to be missed. We were eating breakfast at one of the tables next to the open windows. It was Mardi Gras morning. My 15 yr Old daughter said "mommmmmmmmm!" And pointed out to the sidewalk. There was a gentleman in a cowboy hat, boots, and a frilly pink baby doll pajama outfit waving at us. I told her " take his picture, He will go away." He did. The day got much weirder after that. Ha

Bustling but accessible cafe on the edge of the French Quarter. Spent two mornings here while in town for Halloween. Enough seating that a table for two was relatively easy to snag. Plugs and wifi available and no one rushing you out the door. All of that plus a full breakfast menu made this coffee shop the perfect place to get a little work done, catch up on things, and ease into the day. Locals seem to frequent, as the barrister new several customers by name and order. More than one person waited in line for coffee with their dog. And we sat next to a woman stringing crystals. Highly recommend stopping by.

I stopped here for some coffee and cake to celebrate my daughters birthday after our dinner. We were looking forward to enjoying this but, after standing there for over 15 minutes (being completely ignored by this guy behind the counter) we were wondering what we were supposed to do. We wanted the darn coffee so bad we decided to give him another chance so we moved right in front of him. He was obviously fixing some coffee for the only other couple in the place. However, not a word, not even a glance on our way. Disappointed we decided to leave. I guess they do not care about customers here. What a shame!

Un service au top dans un cadre sympa. Café de quartier donc loin de labondance de touristes. Le café mocha est juste divin et les petits déjeuner sont parfaits. Le tout pour un tarif plus que raisonnable. Nul doute que je reviendrai ici.

2 friends and I stopped here this morning for breakfast and they somehow managed to mess up every part of our order. First they got an order completely wrong, giving us a wrap instead of a bagel and lox. Additionally, they gave me white bread instead of a bagel for a breakfast sandwich. When we showed the cashier the errors, she gave us a hard time about correcting the order. Once we finally figured everything out and sat down to eat, I found a plastic bag in my grits. Do not waste your money.

Best steak and eggs Ive ever had! Seriously. The steak was seasoned and grilled to perfection, the eggs perfectly cooked, and the potatoes melted in my mouth. Then, a beautiful lady came down from heaven and into my life. As I was eating, it started to rain, and she asked if she could sit at my table to get out of the rain. We spent the whole weekend together. If your hungry for steak and eggs and romance, you should go to Envie. It worked for me! The Bloody Marys were excellent too.

Best coffee in the Quarter, probably in all of NO. I live in the LGD and come to the FQ ~1-2x/week. I love enVie because of the coffee. It really is amazing. And no, not that chicory crap - their dark roast is delicious. One free refill, too. Theyre also dog friendly, which means I can go in and read a book while my pup chills on the tile floor. Their paninis are mediocre. Not a huge value or anything, as it is the FQ. But the coffee... worth the trip.

I ordered a double espresso. Although it was true to the Italian tradition of making them short, it was not true to the flavor. It was extremely bitter. I also ordered a croissant but they were out of them at 9:30 am. I had a chocolate pastry that they told me it was made that morning. It was rather hard. I dont like to post bad comments so Ill give it as a positive spin I can: if you like bitter expresso and rather hard pastries, this is your place!

I stumbled across this coffee shop and was surprised to see just 2 reviews on google. I ordered flat white and they got it right. Good taste, not too milky, hot as I like. It is very sunny and open space, they have different table settings for different taste. You can seat by the bar, on regular height table or very comfortable chair looking at cars passing by, music was nice and relaxing. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Great experience.

Visited New Orleans this past weekend and ate breakfast at Envie every morning and lunch one day. Excellent every time. I had the Gouda Burger and wife had a panini. Burger was first rate, as was the panini. My wife loved the french toast because it was made with fresh baked bread. I had omelets that also were excellent. Really good coffee. Pleasant service. Reasonable prices. Lots of locals eat here, more so than tourists by my count.

This coffee house was amazing! The food is good as well as the coffee, and they serve beer too. All that and you can sit in an armchair facing the completely open storefront right on the sidewalk without getting stepped on and people watch - from the comfort of a good awning and air conditioning. It rained pretty hard while we were sitting there, and it was really hot, and we were dry and cool while within a step of outside.

We stopped here for a sweet treat after dinner and were not disappointed. Our friends enjoyed some beer and Irish coffees, while we tried their Butterfinger brownies and cookies. My cookie legit looked like a biscuit, and tasted great! The brownie was so moist that it just dissolved when you bit into it, and was almost more like a super soft fudge. I would definitely return!

I had several native New Oreleans rave about this place, but I was incredibly disappointed. The coffee was very good, but it took an hour for them to prepare our to go order (caused by a number of mistakes, which I do not care to get into) and when we finally tasted our order, it was incredibly bland. I would go back for the coffee, but save your appetite for somewhere else.

Awesome coffee, tasty food (vegan/vegetarian options available as well), big plates for 8 to 10$ and free beer, when you buy a $5 cup :). Theres cool and quiet music in the background, the atmosphere is laid back, the staff is friendly, but chilled. It actually suits the place. Espresso Americano makes me giggle. It sounds like a vegetarian bacon to my European ears ;)

Delicious breakfast, the best coffee and oj. Not the friendliest staff but its early Sunday morning but I hate when I put a nice tip in the jar and they dont even say thank you or smile. But I got spoiled in Bangkok, clean streets and polite people. Walking around the French quarter makes me think New Orleans is a fourth world city. Smelly, dirty and dangerous.
