I just got back from eating at L.A. Cafe in Whitestown Indiana. When I walked in, I was met and seated by the manager Dean Wilson who also owns Deanos Vino in down town Indy. We were served by the waiter named Brian who greeted us and was very courteous and knew the menu front to back. We ordered, and I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi with a side of green beans. When we received the food it looked fabulous. Then came for the taste test. Upon first bight I was hooked, the fillet was cooked perfectly laying on a bed of lettuce, tomato, tartar sauce, and sourdough bread. The green beans were off the hook as well, crispy with a flavor all their own. I ordered the crepe for desert and it was fantastic. All the vegetables and meats except for the seafood come from local Indiana farmers. When finishing up, I was greeted by the chef, Reid Craig and told him how I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Needless to say, I give L.A. Cafe two thumbs up in excellence for a great dining experience. I will definitely be back.

Great place....small and quaint. Even though its in a small town, you feel like youre getting a finer dining experience. This was our first visit: I ordered the ribs and my wife got the parmesan crusted pork loin...both very good! Dessert: brownie sundae...equally as good! You can go as casual or dressed up as youd like...we had excellent service, too. All around, great little place. Wed certainly go again!

At first I thought the experience would be charming, as I was in the middle of nowhere at a cute little diner. Unfortunately I was very upset with my experience. The waitress urged us to "dinner size" my fish and chips and it ended up being $16, which is disgustingly absurd for one meal in a very rundown diner.

This is the greatest bar/family restaurant I have ever been to. Its full of family warmth and a loving atritude. After a bad day there is nothing like the LA cafes smiling staff and great service to change your day for the better. Also the food is amazing.

Hidden gem right here in Boone County. It will now be our family go to on Friday nights. We had the Ahi Tuna for an app, side salads, prime rib and friend shrimp for our entrees. Did not disappoint and far exceeded our expectations. Service was excellent!

Its a motorcycle Cafe next to a Harley-Davidson dealership and Repair Center offers good burgers and fries and some steaks decently priced room for all quaint atmosphere

Dont judge this place by its exterior! The inside is pretty awesome, decorated in a Harley theme. The food is outstanding, and the service was excellent!
