I can truly say that Mixed Grill Cafe is a hidden gem. Ever since I started working on Grandview I had been intrigued by the spot, wondering what it could possibly contain. The first time, and every time I enter, I am promptly greeted by everyone on the floor. I cannot say enough how much this impresses me. Just this simple detail alone so many places forget and it really just shows the class and attention to detail that goes into how well thought out everything is here. The Restaurant was clean, and I mean CLEAN. Everything is tidy and neat, the tables are always immaculately organized and spotless, CLEAN. Mounir (whom Im assuming is the owner) greeted me kindly and I promptly ordered the most traditional thing on the menu I could find, among the more American fare. The Lamb Kabob with cucumber sauce. I was informed by Mounir that they also serve a Lamb Shank, which Im also interested to try. The lamb was nothing short of fantastic. The seasoning was done perfectly, no gamey taste at all, and as tender as lamb can be grilled. Fantastically done. I had to go back for seconds the next day as well as to try the Stuffed Grape Leaves, which were tender and perfect. I think this place deserves much more and I can see a bright future for this restaurant. I would like to see more traditional food on the menu and less American food, but I suppose it is called Mixed Grill for a reason.

A divey, off the beaten road kind of place just off of Nolensville Pike. The Good: Large selection of menu items. Its pretty quiet. The Bad: A large selection of menu items. This is a classic example of a restaurant having way too many things on their menu which keeps them from preparing any of them very well. Its unbelievable how many different kinds of food you can order here. I was pretty underwhelmed with what I got (a gyro platter) and the other 4 people I went with had similar reactions. Theres plenty of other good dining options in this area. Id recommend skipping this one.

Food was terrible and the service was even worst. The cashier who I think is the owner tried to give me the wrong change back and was very rude when I corrected him. The lettuce and other vegetables were wilted and bad. I was sick for three days after I left here. I will never go back and would recommend not going to this place to eat. And do u notice all the reviews that are good? They are all foreign people. Probably his family. Pretty sad when u got to get your own family to boost your reviews.

All the food here is amazing!! We always get friendly service and the restaurant is always clean! I noticed a 100 score from the health department for the past 3-4 years Ive been eating at Mixed Grill Cafe. My favorite has to be the Mixed Grill salad and the homemade ranch dressing is the best Ive had from any restaurant!! Try it for yourself. This is one of those hard to find places but it is a hidden gem!

Always consistent, wide selection, utilitarian dining. All the veggie options have been good, and Im told their hangover-recovery burgers are worth it. I always forget to go here as its a hidden gem and doesnt really look open.
