Being new in Lafayette I was totally surprise the first time I tried Panda House. I was thinking it was a small fast food place with mediocre food at best. I was totally wrong. The food is fresh and cook to order, not something that sit around for hours like other places. Im well please with the food, service and price. I believe you will not be disappointed should you elect to try it. Those being a small place the food is gourmet style, just in plastic containers (usuaully I take out). This is my unbiased opinion, I know no one who work there or who own the place.

DO NOT ORDER IN!! 30 minutes we waited while many other customers behind us came and picked up their orders and, of course, customers ahead of us waited even longer than we did. However, I have to say that when I let the attendant know that I had no idea that the wait would be that long she promised to get it out in 3 minutes...and she actually did. Plus, the food was fresh and better than your average Chinese buffet.

I am a little behind when posting reviews .. especially when I like an establishment.. My bad dont want every TDH& J screw it up.. This place is the best... I have had all the items on the menu..always fresh... The owners/staff are just to polite and always open for discussion. We had places like this in the NE and SE small kitchen get to watch the chef cook..great food.... Always my first choice... John

Great food (and lots of it) for a great price! Everything is cooked fresh when you order, and they do not skimp on the serving size. Lunch items are only $5, come with a drink or egg roll, and I almost always have enough left over for dinner! Use the menu on their website to place your order ahead of time for pick-up, or there are a few tables for dining in.

Meh... I dont get takeout often, so when I do is a treat. Ive never ordered here before but seeing the great reviews decided to give it a try. Egg roll? Wonderful. Sweet & sour sauce? On point. Pork Lo Mein? Bland. *Hot* (what I interpreted as spicy) entree? Same. So disappointing. Plus I ordered delivery so I had to pay extra to be let down.

This is our second time come to Panda house Chinese restaurant in this week.garlic shrimp rocks. general Tsos chicke and Mongolian beef are outstanding .we get free crab Rangoon on orders over 28 dollars.the prices are good and the staff friendly.
