My wife had small shrimp plate and I had the Saturday special, a bowl of gumbo and a pulled pork sandwich. Her shrimp were small and less than a dozen of them. The pork sandwich had a lot of meat but wasnt very flavorful. The "gumbo" was a big bowl but it was awful, like gumbo from a can. I remember this place being good 20 years ago, it will be another 20 before we come back.

The boiled crawfish were extremely salty and very over boiled. They disintegrated in our hands when we peeled them. My son paid for 6 lbs @ $5 per pound and got one small tray of them. Ive lived in Louisiana all of my life and have never had crawfish as bad as these!!!

The food is super good, but the staff must have been having a terrible day when I stopped by for a to-go order because they were very unfriendly and borderline rude.

They just brought out the Brisket when I asked for it. Sliced it in front of me. It melts in your mouth. The Cheesy Potatoes are dynamite!
