We recently had the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here, and the food was excellent!! There was also lots of space for the whole party and since we reserved the back room, we all got to sit together instead of being spread out over a whole restaurant. I tried every single one of the meats and I cant decide which is my favorite because they are all SO good. The only thing food-wise keeping this from being a full 5-star rating is that the green beans were super spicy, and there was NOTHING on the menu indicating that they would be spicy whatsoever. I dislike spicy foods, but love green beans, and have a couple of other friends who are the same way and complained about that. The convenience of running through the line and ordering everything on one ticket was really great. I wish they would have given everyone separate order numbers, though. There were several orders that came out and nobody knew who they were supposed to go to, but we all had one order number because it was on one ticket. However, the food came out fairly quickly and we all got to eat in the same time.

The meat is usually pretty decent but their sides are horrible. My first few visits I was satisfied enough to return but I never liked their selections for sides. Their beans remind me of van camps pork and beans. And growing up poor I loathe pork n beans now. And their cheesy corn was interesting at first but the quality of what I am being served at the north location is bad enough I dont expect to return any time soon. And thats sad because the quality of food at Buckinghams has become awful too. And their servings have doubled in price when you consider how small the portions have become. Wheres a famous Daves

I saw signs for this place and decided to give it a try. It has a bunch of trophies in the window, and having just finished my meal I can see why. I had the sampler. Pulled Pork and Brisket were great. As were the ribs, which were cooked with a slightly sweet sauce. The Potato Salad was quite unusual, and delicious. Ive never had any like it. And the Coleslaw was excellent. They have six different BBQ sauces, all good. They have two mustard-vinegar sauces that were different than any Ive had. And quite tasty. No bar here, but they have beer. I have to bring my son-in-law here, he will love it.

Average food, far below what I expected based on what the locals had to say about it. Brisket, pretty good. Chicken is fair at best, kinda dry and gristle included. Smoked sausage is what I get at Walmart just a little on the dry side. Cheesy corn... awful. Smoked green beans... nope, they came from a can and way over cooked, they just added some scrap meat for flavor and eye appeal. The people, super nice and service was quick. I feel like I just lost $15 betting on a 1 horse race.

Usually like Whole Hog but I typically go to the Sunshine location. The food at the Glenstone location was fair, green beans were terrible. The biggest issue was really slow service and most of the tables hadnt been cleared. It might help if the girl behind the counter would stop texting and put the phone down. Ill stick with the Sunshine location in the future.

Ribs were excellent, pulled pork was old and dry, brisket over cooked, tough, no smoke ring. Sides were nothing to write home about. Would not recommend. Two stars for ribs! I should have known something was wrong when some empty tables were still dirty and only two customers on July 4 when other restaurants were packed on the way here!

Definitely the best location of Whole Hog in Springfield. My wife got pulled pork nachos, and I got the pulled pork sandwich. Both were very good and the pork had a nice thick crust that really pulled the dish together. Would definitely recommend and will eat here again.

Was not impressed you wait on yourself the ribs were stripped down to the point all you got was bones the pulled pork was dry even after adding the sauce it was expensive to say the least boasts that it is a world class bbq winner I have better out of my backyard

First time dining at Metropolitan Grill in Springfield, MO. Food was wonderful, presentation superb and Kari, our waitress, made our dining experience both enjoyable and a fun filled evening. We highly recommend this restaurant, as it is a wonderful place to eat.

Very good pulled pork sandwich, meat was very well cooked and tasted really good. BBQ sauce was good but need a brown sugar sauce as an option. Staff was very friendly. Very clean and good atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Food was way more expensive than we expected, especially for the amount of food. I wasnt impressed. You also have to get your own drinks and go to the counter for your food. Its like a really expensive fast food barbeque place.

Where are the ribs?? I wanted ribs not bones.. Ugh .. Food ok but Ive had better..No doubt. Prices sick for the quality.. Potato salad is good. Baked beans ok if it werent for the near and sausage in them. The sauces save them.

Each time I visit a new Whole Hog Cafe location I am pleasantly surprised that it is as good as the original. Definitely the best BBQ in the SW Missouri NW Arkansas area. I love the pulled chicken and the fries are amazing!

Overpriced and disappointing staff. The workers were on their phones the whole time we were there. The nachos I ordered looked like childs food and the presentation was poor as well. Would not recommend.

Great pork, only OK Brisket, no fried okra, but the home fries are delicious. Would recommend pulled pork with home fries and when you get to the table sauce #3 is where its at.

The food is great. Each of us had a different meat and all thought the meat was good. Its not dry like some smoked meats. The atmosphere was also good.

Brisket was amazing, but the chicken was greasy, and tasteless. If we come back, getting nothing but brisket, beans, and potato salad
