Okay, let me just break this place down to you. It was kinda like that scene in Truman Show where everything looks so perfect EXCEPT there are all kinds of evidence of the whole complex being built poorly. When multiple contractors work on a project one after another, this is what you get. We went there to see a movie. The theater was great but the entire experience around the theater was just like weird Utopian failed dream. I flirted with the hostess at the voodoo bbq where we went to have a beer before the movie. She was pretty cute. Thats the only reason you are getting the 2nd star.

One of the nicest modern development areas in Baton Rouge. While it does feel artificial to a degree, the sidewalks, the park in the center with the fountain and people sitting in the grass around it listening to a live band while people eat and sip cocktails at surrounding restaurants.......the grand entrance of the movie theater....the ice cream shop on the corner.... they are all a welcome departure from the standard suburban blight of big box stores and strip malls. I, for one, greatly appreciate the effort put in to the planning.

This area sets the standard for quality in this area. You can make 100 visits and have a different experience each time, if you are willing to explore. Did you know: the theater there serves the BEST hot dog, even compared to trips to Chicago. Zoës kitchen offers great food also. There are dine-in, sitting areas, shops, book stores, fountains. If you plan to entertain guest, that want to have a positive experience while in Baton Rouge, bring them here. The parking may be difficult at times but still worth it.

This is a great shopping center. Dont expect everything to be cheap, but neither is it always expensive, although you will find some high end retailers. This is a great place to spend a day shopping, dinning, and catching a movie. They even have living quarters and a gym, for those who desire to live in the hustle and bustle. The atmosphere is great and is clean. You wont regret checking the "Rowe" out.

Perkins Rowe tried to gives its shoppers more of an upscale feel. The area is nicely designed. The parking could use a little more detail. Their are many restaurants their to choose from. There is a movie theater there also. This area tends to have many tween/teens on weekend nights hanging out outside the movie theater. Barnes and Noble is also there for you to catch up on your reading.

Whats not to love when you can shop for just about anything, stop @ Barnes & Noble for a book & a cappuccino, watch a new movie @ Cinemark, grab a quick bite to eat for lunch while sitting outside by a beautiful water fountain, and have a nice, quiet dinner with someone special after dark and/or enjoy a cocktail or 2 @ the bar after you finish watching the live band perform???

Well most of the shops and restaurants are way out of my budget range, just walking through here feels like Im walking through Southern California. The scenery here is absolutely beautiful and psychologically makes me feel like Im taking a vacation coming here. My favorite place to eat is at Texas de Brazil

One can tell this is a more respectable spot. I recommend dressing in more than pajamas and a big t-shirtor you will feel very out of place. Live entertainment, top of the line food and the movie theater is 5/5 at least 39 shows later and have not had 1 bad experience with the staff or other fellow guests.

A nice, outdoor shopping area but there arent many stores here. I did hear there will be an expansion sometime in the future but it does not seem soon. I dont believe there is another place like this in south LA. If you have time and the weather outside is nice (very rare in the summer), check it out!

I suggest that everyone go to Perkins Rowe at night time to get the full experience. It is very beautiful seeing all the lights and the water fountain come together. It gives that downtown feel. Its the perfect mixture of shopping and eating locations. There is something new to try on every corner.

Quiet and beautiful. You feel like you are in a little town out of a book. The theater is super company and the restraints are delicious and friendly. Make sure to stop by Lava Cantina rock and roll, live bands and awesome tacos. The Mexican brunch is pretty good too

Has such a beautiful night life atmosphere. Seeing the area all lit up at night was breathtaking. Appears to be very safe; there was some form of security on every crosswalk, intersection and parking area. Restaurants and shopping galore! I cant wait to go back!

Beautiful two-story storefronts with Lofts on the top. Very upscale with high end stores, nice restaurants and a movie theater. Right next to the Neuro Medical Center. Summer fun with games and a band on Thursday evenings... called "Rock and Rowe".

Promenade style mall. There are a lot of great stores and even a fresh market close by. Think name brand type stores. Easy parking with an accessible garage and store front parking when available. A few very nice restaurant options to boot!

DO NOT LET YOUR GIRLFRIEND/WIFE/SIDE CHICK ENTER CHARMING CHARLIES UNATENDED AND/OR WITH YOUR MONEY. JUST DONT. WE SUDDENLY QUESTION HOW BADLY WE REALLY NEED TO EAT THIS MONTH OR IF WE REALLY NEED TO PAY THE CAR NOTE. OKAY. YOURE WELCOME.

Great outdoors mall with a bunch of really cute shops, restaurants and a movie theater. Would love to see a better selection of affordable shops, as most are high end, and a better parking situation, it can get kinda crazy on the weekends.

Cute shopping center, went to dinner several days at different restaurants in Perkins Rowe and had good experiences/good meals at them (Voodoo BBQ & California Pizza Kitchen). Neat place to have dinner and walk around to shop/window-shop!

Lots of things to do here at reasonable prices. The movies do $5 movie tuesday. The restaurants are pretty good. The stores are fun to window shop in, but a bit pricey. The waterfountains are pretty. Good place to play pokemon go.

Great for grabbing a bite to eat before a movie. If you need to waste a little time there are store to browse, but my favorite is Barnes and Noble. The eclectic assortment and great walking areas makes it a nice day out.

Tons of dining options and retail. Its eye catching architecture and landscape with curb appeal. Can get a little crowded sometimes but worth the wait. We often get Kona, Lava Cantina and California Pizza Kitchen often.

I love Perkins Rowe. I love going to Barnes and nobles, I love going to cine mark, and I love going to restaurants such as California pizza kitchen, Zoes, and the Japanese restaurant called Kona grill.
