Bob Evans is clean and cheerful and has lots of windows. The waitress arrived at our table with steaming pots of regular and decaf coffee as soon as we sat down; our food arrived - piping hot - ten minutes later. The price was right - $4.69 for a cup of sausage gravy and two large (1.5” tall x 3” wide) biscuits. But the creamy white gravy is what knocks your socks off. The kitchen has done something special with this breakfast staple: used cornstarch for thickener instead of flour? Pumped up the milk with half and half? “Nobody beats their gravy,” my husband says. “Not in this town.” It grieves me to admit that includes my own kitchen. Bob Evans has a wide variety of breakfast combos, including a long list of healthy, low-cal offerings, and lunch and dinner as well. I tried, but could find no points-busters in any category. Five stars.

Our family has greatly enjoyed eating at this Bob Evans often. However, management has recently implemented a new policy to not allo9w highchairs to be placed at the end of the table. For our family with a very active toddler, this arrangement allows too much access making dining too difficult. We asked if the new policy was for safety regulations and were told it was not. The new policy was to decrease the dropping of plates. We also asked if we could be seated in an area outside of main traffic flow but were told no. We respect the right of each restaurant to enact its own policies. We choose to eat at more family friendly businesses in the future. Cracker Barrel and Ihop are down the street and they place the high chair where we need it.

We stop here for lunch probably six or eight times a year while out shopping. It is always a pleasant experience, comfortable, quiet, and with and good food. Service is quick and the wait staff is always courteous, and there is always a manager who is unobtrusive but present making sure that things are running well. One thing I appreciate is that (as near as I can tell) they have a real kitchen with real cooks. (I could swear that some of the chain places just pull meals out of the freezer and heat them up.) The menu has a good selection to choose from and the meals are always delicious.

My wife and I stopped for lunch at this Bob Evans restaurant on Wednesday, March 30th. The staff could not have been more friendly and courteous. The food was excellent. I had a breakfast selection including eggs-- I thought they were prepared just the way I requested, but the cook was not satisfied with the way one turned out. He sent another egg to my table to ensure my satisfaction!!!! Talk about incredible service! Thank you.

They food is always very good and the service is great!! I want to say the manager here is a very good example for his employees. We always see him working and doing whatever is needed at the time. You have a winner in James. Will come back always!!

Great food and great service. Went to Bob Evans for Fathers day and the restaurant was very busy but we were seated surprisingly quick. Our waitress, Denise, was friendly and attentive. The food was prepared as requested. Highly recommend.

Service was great. Food was rather blah though.Hashbrowns tasted like they had been cooked on a griddle that had not be cleaned in a while and definately required salt. Everything need salt and pepper. Maybe they were having an off day.

Somebody needs to explain to Paducah BobEvans what pies made from scratch mean, I ask 5 times if they were sure the coconut pie was made from scratch(homemade) 5 times they assured me it was ( no it is not) BobEvans I want my money back

Our waitress was wonderful. Large me u selection of down home cooking. Dude at the register was somewhat rude and food was sub par. Worse Bob Evans experience but I wont let this experience ruin all Bob Evans for me
