The waitress Jasmine was the worst I ever came across in my life! Ive had bad service before but this time I have to talk about it. We made sure to tell her we wanted to eat our soup and salad first, not that we should have had to but..... She still brought out everything at once! When I told her that I didnt want the food now she said thats the way I had to get it. Really? The person I was eating dinner with wouldnt let me walk out. The Food was yesterdays rehash! I ordered chicken livers that were so old and hard like they have been reheated for a week. The only thing I liked was the baked potato. The other waitress there seemed to be on top of her game. Unfortunately for me I didnt get her.

I discovered Washington Family Restaurant about a week ago, and was very pleased overall. I had the double cheese burger and fries (I dont remember the exact name of it on the menu), and I must say that it is as good as any I have had in the Peoria area. In addition, the waitress was very friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable...even bordering on cheap. The atmosphere is nothing special, but certainly not bad enough to warrant taking a star away. 5 stars from me!

It is a small town diner kind of place, run by a great family. There is some turn over in the wait staff, but the regular waitresses are top notch. They will remember your name, your order and stuff you share with them. While they do get busy and can feel the pressure, they have ALWAYS provided the best service possible. The food is home style without a lot of extra cover up flavoring. If you only get one meal there, try the breakfast!

I went here with my family wasnt impressed I dont eat much and my elderly grandma doesnt either. The first time I came here they let her order off childs menu but this time the waitress rudly told her no when my uncle went to talk to owner and he was rude told him if he wanted smaller portion to Go down the street. I will not be back. I give this restaurant a big 0. The food was nasty both times

I can only rate the breakfast here but they get 5 starts for food and price. Food has always been good and prices better than most in the area. The building and setting inside are a bit tired, but its a diner and I would expect such from most similar establishments. I come here with the family for breakfast on occasion and have never left unsatisfied.

Came here based on reviews. After being served freezer french fries, spaghetti that tasted like canned spaghetti os, and fatty tasteless corned beef with halfmelted cheese, we concluded these reviews must have been written by family members and staff. Service was ok, but really hate being called "sweety" and "honey" by servers.

Great place for breakfast! We took a group of 8 and everyone loved what they ordered. The total bill was under $60. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because the dinning area is a little worn and could be a little cleaner. All together a we were very satisfied and will be coming back soon.

Horrible! BLT with half a piece of bacon on one side, a one whole piece on the other half. If you miss cafeteria food from grade school, this is the place. Surprisingly your milk doesnt come in little milk cartons. I want a refund!

I eat breakfast here frequently. The food is very good and the prices very reasonable, but the greatest appeal is the superbly efficient and friendly service provided by the morning staff of Jenn, Laura, and Teresa.

Great food at a great price. Ive had all the skillets at some point in time; all are good. Coffee is okay, but The Blend is right across the street & has the best coffee around. Go to The Blend for coffee instead.
