My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to meet up with a friend and her new boyfriend for dinner. We took to Yelp to find some place new with good ratings. Sicilian II came up as the highest rated place in the area, so we decided to give it a go. When we arrived the parking lot was quite full, although the restaurant only had two other parties besides us. The restaurant is on the smaller side with approximately 12 tables. We were greeted by a personable waitress who kept a great demeanor throughout dinner, even when we were joking around with her a bit. We ordered the calamari and the fried mozzarella for appetizers. I do not eat calamari, but the mozzarella was the best that I have ever had. It was not stringy like most fried mozzarella and seemed to melt in your mouth. The breadsticks were also very delicious and freshly made. My girlfriend got the salad and said the house dressing (Greek I believe) was amazing. I ordered the meat lovers pizza, it was absolutely amazing, the crust was thin and tasty (I usually skip the crust) and the meats on the pizza were all dynamite! My girlfriend ordered the baked mostaccioli and she is still raving about it. My friend got the stuffed chicken breast which she thoroughly enjoyed and her boyfriend who is a self proclaimed lamb aficionado said that the gyro platter had the best lamb he has ever tasted. The prices were VERY reasonable and as we were paying, the lady at the register (I would guess the owner/wife) asked us how our meal was with genuine concern. I will definitely be returning to Sicilian II in the future. The menu has so many amazing choices and after reading more reviews it seems like their dessert is something to look forward to. TL;DR This place is a gem, if you have not been you are missing out on one of the coasts best eateries.

My husband and I tried this place tonight after finding it on a Google Search for restaurants. Were suckers for family-owned Italian restaurants. This place did not disappoint. Owned by 4 siblings, The Sicilian II gives off a comfortable, happy vibe the moment you walk in. We were greeted warmly, seated quickly, and our waiter was both funny and efficient. And the food. The mozzarella sticks were different than any kind Ive ever eaten, and delicious. The food is almost entirely made from scratch all the way down to the doughs, sauces and salad dressings. Decades old family recipes give everything we ate a unique flavor. We were stuffed full when we left but still ordered tiramisu to go because we knew it had to be divine, based on everything else we ate. And on top of all of its perks, the price was great. We will definitely visit again the next time were down.

Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone! The mozzarella sticks have no breading and are very unique. Did I mention they are also to die for? OMG. So good. They only cost $6 which is pretty good for an appetizer if you ask me. My husband and I both got the stuffed manicotti, which was great! The filling was FANTASTIC. However.... The sauce on mine was very salty and I had to scrape most of it off. Ive seen pictures online of other peoples dish and it seems like maybe mine just had too much sauce. My husband got the chocolate canolli and was very happy with it! I got the tiramisu and it was good. I personally like big strong coffee flavor in mine and this was a bit more mild than that.

Simply a fantastic Italian restaurant! I have very high expectations for real Italian food, and Ive definitely found a new favorite. The atmosphere is quiet and family friendly. The staff is warm and helpful, taking the time to answer our questions and offer recommendations. The food was outstanding. You know its good when the breadsticks blow you away. Get the mozzarella sticks, they are really something else. Pizza and pasta are both homemade and delicious. We are probably going to have to come here once a week.

Excelente comida y atención... Yo he probado muchas comidas italianos en distintos países, y el sabor de las que en éste lugar se prepara, es incomparable, es realmente muy bueno. Volveré a venir mil veces más, si pudiera hacerlo...

Super friendly staff! Everyone came out to talk to us and the lady at the counter helped us chose the pizza that would get the most toppings for the price. There was a very friendly journalist doing another story about them that even bought us an order of their mozzarella sticks, which I would HIGHLY recommend getting. The pizza was delicious with generous portions of toppings! Dont miss out on this place!

We went based on a recommendation from a friend. This place is great. Small and simple. The service is extraordinary! A family run place with great food. They told us the lasagna is a 100-year-old recipe. Its delicious. The pizza is authentic Italian. They make their own dough. It tastes amazing. This is definitively our place for Italian. Cant wait to try more of the menu!

This is your type of hole in the wall place that you surely wont be disappointed. Went there with a friend and absolutely loved the food and the service. You can even bring your own bottle of wine and drink it there :) major plus. Though it is a Italian restaurant they also have a few Greek items on the menu ( interesting). Highly recommend this place, you will love it.

Ahhh-mazing!!!! The service was great and we cant say enough about how delicious everything was. Not very often does one place satisfy all 4 of our family members. This was an exception. From the appetizer to the dessert, everyone was happy. Well make it a point to visit any time were back in this area. Great way to end a week traveling.

The best place I have ever been in the state. My favorite place to eat in Mississippi. I love it. They have Greek and Italian and both are authentic and amazing. People there are wonderful and have become a second family to me. I wish I could give them more than five stars.

Took a chance on this place and was not disappointed. Ordered a large 3 topping pizza. Everything was just right. I normally eat pizza with garlic butter, but it, honestly, wasnt necessary. Am looking forward to ordering from here again. Very, very good, authentic pizza.

It is not every day that the cook personally makes sure you are having a good meal. This place has top notch Italian food and fantastic service. It also gives you a feel like you are in Italy and has great music. A must stop for anyone in the area.

Chris is the owner/waiter of this wonderful, family owned restaurant. This is not Olive Garden! This is real Italian food handed down for generations from when they lived in Sicily. Not a fancy place, but first rate food. TRY It !!!!

Great prices for good Italian food. The customer service was phenomenal. The food was good but not great, the pasta seemed a little overcooked and the sauce was bland. The meatballs were great though!
