Very disappointing. When I lived in Owensboro I ate here regularly and it was always great. My mother and I stopped in this past week for lunch. The host seated us and since there were just 2 of us - she seated us at a small table near the kitchen. I was ok with that although I really prefer more room. We sat there all of 30 seconds before I looked at my mom and asked it she smelled that awful smell. She did also. We couldnt put our finger on it. So we asked to move. We moved clear across the dining room from the kitchen and STILL smelled this smell. It was so bad I almost couldnt think of ordering food. After thinking about it- i believe it was the smell of something soured, such as mop water maybe, that havent been changed or something. I dont know if they wiped the tables down with something soured or what but it was awful. We decided to stay and muster through it as our time was limited for lunch. Our food was great and so was our waiter. A very nice and very professional young man. I give the food and service 5 stars but the atmosphere only 2 stars. I hope this was just a rare instance.

Im not really sure who could write a bad review about our local Owensboro Olive Garden. I go at least once a month sometimes twice a month and every time is a good experience. The management staff is top of the line and sincerely care about your experience. The food is always great and the one time I did have an issue it was fixed immediately. Thank you to all the Owensboro Olive Garden staff for always taking the extra step to ensure my service and experience is great.

Literally the worst dining experience of my life. Microwaved chicken breasts covered in burnt citrus gravy for the low price of $15. The manager did take care of the bill for us, which was nice. Although I dont think I would have offered to pay for the food anyway, as I didnt eat it.

Both times Ive been to this olive garden, Ive just not really liked the food. The quality of the alfredo is odd, tastes like something in a TV dinner. Maybe Im ordering the wrong thing, everyone else seems to love it. Great atmosphere and service, though.

The service was nice but the food it self not so much I had a lobster ravioli and I couldnt taste the lobster at all it is the 3rd time I go to Oliven garden and the food experience is not good, and Im a Italian food lover.
