Tesori is across the street from our office and we come over when we want to have a slower lunch in a quiet setting. We always run into someone we know because its a popular spot. I love bread service at lunch, so Im always glad to see the ciabatta bread and olive oil come to the table when first seated. We started with salads before lunch and my panzanella salad was a little lemony, but with the avocado it wasnt too tart. My friends had the house salad and Cesar salad, both were very good. I had the chicken alla cacciatora and it was excellent. The meat was served mostly off the bone with crisp skin on a bed of warm caper, tomato and sweet pepper sauce. The portion was excellent. My friends had the salmon (cooked a perfect medium with nice summer zucchini and cream sauce) and the tagliatelle with sausage, cream, and rapini which he enjoyed. I wish we had saved room for dessert because Ive never tried any of their desserts yet, but maybe next time! On a past visit we had a server who seemed to not be into being there, which was unlike Tesoris usual service. Today, the young lady who waited on our table was fast, gracious, and attentive. Our water glasses were never empty (this is really important to me) and someone came to ask how our food was after we had an opportunity to taste it (also important!). The manager stopped by to say hello and asked how our meal was as well, which I wish all restaurants were in the habit of doing.

Wow! What a nice surprise. This is a cool romantic restaurant to have a nice talk with your spouse. The food was amazing. We ordered mushroom pizza (a must), fries sprouts (yeah!) and a mixed greens salad (it will surprise you). Go for it! ¡Wow!

Our group of 7 (50-somethings) had Sunday afternoon dinner there recently after attending an art exhibit at the Art Institute which is just one block away. We found the food to be very good to excellent, the decor very bland other than the view to the city street and the elevated train station outside which were very interesting, and the server obviously hated his job, probably an under-employed performer forced to wait tables. We had an enjoyable time, but spent almost $500 (including 2 - 3 house wines each), but I am not sure we would go back again. Too bad, because the kitchen does a really good job, starting with the delicious bread. But, for that money, and a birthday celebration no less, you would think the waiter could manage one smile or thank you, or at least not look so annoyed. Plus, you would think in a restaurant called "Rhapsody" you might hear some rhapsodies playing in the background, but it was a hodgepodge of non-descript classical and non-classical music.

We spent $ 122.00 tonight for food you may eat somewhere else and youd pay only $20.00 when we left my wife was so upset and said she wished she dined at McDonalds and that was much better, at list you wont smell the fishy plates. All the plates smell so bad, it was one of those worst experience. She had that chicken plate, I have no idea what they call it, the chicken smell horrible. The plates were may be only rinsed after they served on them I guess was fish or something. They are horrible even the waiters were so rude. Save your money and go to chick filet much better. We were five people, we were asked if we prefer to sit in the dining room and not the bar room, they dont serve the same food in both room, they wont let you choose whatever you like, special food for the dining room. What a big deal? My kids thought the ham that they put as a topping on one of their pizza is sour. I mean they are horrible and nasty.

We had an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert. They were all consistently meh. The ravioli were a little better than chef boyardee but not by much. The octopus/ leak appetizer was very salty without much leak taste at all. Finally the chocolate cake dessert. We figured "how could they mess this up?" well, it didnt have much of a chocolate taste to it. The vanilla Gelato was good but I assume was not made there. We came on a Friday night and it was empty. Red flag! Vapianos around the corner has better Italian food, to be honest. I expected this place to be better.

The food was tasty and a little different which was nice. The prices very good for what you pay. I was definitely disappointed in the experience we received. My husband and I were in this city for a mini vacation. Our server treated us pretty poorly especially compared to his "older couple" tables. To you sir, it does not matter the age of the patron you are serving. A paying customer is a paying customer regardless of their age. Unfortunately your tip reflected your poor attendance to us. Overall not too wow-ed with the staff.

Last day of May we had dinner for three. 1. Olive oil for bread sticks dipping was spoiled - very oxidized, stinky and bitter. 2. Duck breast was ordered medium well done - provided overcooked and firewood dry. Had no time to wait for redo. 3. Check out check was dropped on the table - no folder, no pen. Food quality highly overpriced - worthy no more than half price. Evening with my lovely wife and European friend was trashed !!! $150+ wasted. One star, not zero, just because chef cooks well seafood, but just about it!!!!!

Awesome cicchetti--- loved the octopus, meatballs and polenta, and the eggplant ricotta. Our waitress didnt really know what she was talking about-- was confused when I ordered the Supertuscan and asked me if that was wine--- although thats a common Italian wine. When my friend asked about cipollini, the waitress said it was a sauce. WRONG Google says its a type of small onion. Gelato here sucks---- do yourself a favor and order another dessert or go to Ge Pa De for gelato instead.

I spent 10 days in chicago and it was the worst meal of my stay The food overall was not tasty The appetizer pizza had almost no ingredients and had a sour taste like it was soaked in lemon The carbonara spaguetti was slightly undercooked and it had little flavor. It had huge chunks of meat that were advertised as pork but really had a consistency between tuna and beef The salmon was good and was the only thing worthy of the restaurant but really screwing salmon is difficult

Thank you Scott for a delicious brunch. Great service provided by Chelsea who checked in on us several times and just at the right time. Beet salad was outstanding! The goat cheese frittata was very tasty along with fresh greens perfectly dressed. Veggie panini was fantasic with pickled sides. The french toast is a must order. Also best Bloody Mary in Chicago!! Totally a 5 star experience

If youre looking for somewhere in the loop that has really well-made, flavorful food, an atmosphere conducive to proper conversation, and good service, make sure you try this spot. I had the Spaghetti with pea shoots, fennel pollen, garlic, fresno peppers, lemon and pecorino romano. I swear Ive been happy for days! :D
