BYOB....need I say more? This place is awesome!! I love Italian & I love saving money by BYOBing ;) I went on a Friday night with a group of 10 friends to celebrate one of my closest friends birthdays. We decided to do family style and just get a ton of different foods to try. We also had more than enough liquors to try lol. We had the best waiter, Gilberto, he helped us make great choices and treated us great!! Appetizers we got calamari, green bean salad and goat cheese. All of these were delicious. Calamari is the softest Ive had. It wasnt chewy at all. i wish the breading would have been a little crisper but it was really good. For the main course we had several different things but the one I fell in love with was this tortellini with all this gooey amazing cheese. Anything with bubbling hot cheese is A ok in my book!! For dessert we had tiramisu which was yummy!! At the end of the meal I spoke to the owner who is also the chef and he was very nice and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our meal. Very friendly and I really appreciated his taking the time to chat with me. Definitely recommend this place. Ill be back ASAP!

Ciao Amores ambiance is very warm and welcoming, I personally felt like I was visiting a friends home. But the food is definately an experience that is enjoyed across every sensory. At first, when you are served the presentation is impeccable and plentifull. Secondly, the scents and flavors of the food travels through every sensory receptor through the brain bellowing "THIS IS AMAZING." I personally recommend the gnocci with a porcini wine sauce and/or lobster ravioli in an arrabiata sauce. I will let you form your own opinion of these dishes - just know that the arrabiata sauce has a kick and it may be too spicy, specially for those who are not use to it. The bread they serve could be a little crispier, the drink options is limited, but the restaurant is BYOB, so come prepare. If not, there is a liquor store across the street, but options there are also limited. I recommend the place and dont judge the food based on the bread you get before hand.

I can not even begin to explain the horrible customer service I experienced here. I had booked a SURPRISE birthday dinner for my boyfriend 2 months in advanced. It was booked for Feb 13th. I called to confirm a day before and the manager Caesar reassured me everything was fine. Come Feb 13th, the same manager then calls me 2 hours BEFORE my reso to tell me that he has now changed the menu to a fixed menu, $65 a person because it was valentines weekend. Now the price wasnt an issue. It was the fact that I did not once get a courtesy call to inform me of the change so I can notified my guests in advance. I then ask him to work with me due to the inconvenience and he mumbles "Jesus Christ" under his breath. As if I was the inconvenience. I couldnt believe the disrespect. I have brought plenty of business here, I will never again. Thank you Caesar, for ruining my boyfriends birthday.

This place is a hidden gem! Food is made to order, bruschetta is the best I have ever had and the Chef is always open to making special dishes for anyone! We had a few dishes and everything was cooked to perfection! Do not go to a chain restaurant for sticky noddles, stop by this little place in Pilsen and experience an evening of pure delight! Chef Cesar is a master Chef and owner and Rene is runs the front end. She make you feel like part of the family! If you are attending a concert up the street, let the staff know and they will work with you on time suggesting dishes. Thumbs up Cesar and Rene!

The food was really good but it took a bit of time and the service was lacking. The woman, who was a manager or owner let us know that it was crazy busy a few times... But there were a lot of empty tables. Good was good, service was not so good. Also, do not believe the menu. If it says vegetarian, it probably isnt. Two out of the four of us at dinner ordered veggie options, that had chicken and beef in them. When asked the response was "that is out sauce". Ok... Well dont put it under vegetarian then. Anyways, food was good.

Our party of 4 waited a full 20 minutes before any server approached our table. Then it took quite a while to place orders for appetizers and entrees, and these came out slowly. The final entree was brought out at least 10 minutes after the first. We were told "All our food is home-cooked, and this takes a while." The food was decent, but the service, though friendly, was inexcusably slow.

I fell in love with this place and will be coming back to try the rest of the menu. This family owned restaurant is fantastic. You truly feel at home here. Again, a simple menu with familiar flavors. BYOB. You leave feeling well fed and like part of the family. A must in the Pilsen neighborhood.

I love Ciao Amore. The food is consistently amazing, the service is great, and the atmosphere is lovely. Not to mention, Cesar is so accommodating and happy all the time. It is kid friendly and BYO. They could charge 10x more for their food and Id pay for it. Love it!

Went on Valentines day. Over priced.. No one in the restaurant... I wonder why. My date also lost her money there and they claim they didnt see it even clearly it was just us and the staff in the restaurant at the time. Would never go again

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. We went there on a Friday night, and there was a live jazz band playing. The servers even sang a song with them!

Great atmosphere, food not a so good. Maybe it was the chef that day but I felt like I got ripped off for the amount of money I spent on the noodles.
