My fiance and i decided to go to Hometown Pizza in Middletown for their lunch buffet. We were greated and seated quickly and the lady took our drink order. We went to the buffet that was nearly empty there was no pasta whatsoever and only a half pan of bread sticks and a couple slices of different pizzas i loaded my plate with bread sticks and waited for more pizza to come out. When I finished my plate our waitress came to the table and asked us to repeat our drink order becaise she forgot. So we did and we went to the buffet for anpther plate but it was still fairly empty, still no pasta but they did bring out a peperoni pizza and more breadsticks. We decided it would probably be best to just order a pizza from the menu, so we let our waitress know and after 30 mins of waiting on our order we went to the counter to see if our pizza was ready and they told us the cheese was falling off and they had to make another. We took the pizza how it was and it tasted great but the service was terrible as was the buffet selection. I know i wont be back to this location.

11/15/16 around 530pm we visited. The pizza was delicious but the service was the best i have had in a very long time! The waiter took the time with each and every customer in the restaurant. He smiled, talked and laughed with us. He even gave the kids in the restaurant quarters to buy gum at the gum ball machine and suckers to take home with them! What an impact he made on me! We have eaten your fabulous pizza multi times and excellent salads. But when we were there the other day the Asian server was very upsetting. When I ask for a box for our pizza to go she rolled her eyes and acted like it was a chore she did not want to do. We tipped her very well anyway. If we get another order, we will get it to go. Love this pizza! Weve tried several different kinds and have never been disappointed! Also, the bread sticks are a necessity!! They have wings that I want to try...but every time we go, the smell of that pizza just overwhelms us and we have to get it! Maybe some day.....

Came for the buffet, waited 30+ minutes and they still didnt put any pizza out. Whats worse is that they had 15-20 other people waiting as well. I guess they thought it was okay to stop serving the buffet 45 minutes early but still charge people for it. Never again.

Decent pizza, OK pricing, and gluten free options. Be careful with the gluten free though - not all staff understand what is needed - I was ordering GF pizza for a while with hamburger on it until a person at another Hometown told me their hamburger wasnt GF...
