What a cool place. When I walked in, the owner was out front talking with customers. He told me hed be with me in just a minute and jokingly said, "If nothing else, just grab a slice and put it in the oven." I laughed, looked around and grabbed a menu while I waited. I ordered the garlic knots and the meatlovers pizza. You wouldve had to try real hard to use all the beer cheese for the knots, as you got about an ice cream scoop full. I saved what I didnt use to spread on the crust of my pizza. DO THIS. It was awesome. The owner talked with me afterward, thanked me multiple times for giving them a shot. I apologize for the extended review, but if you skimmed to the end, heres what I have to say: This place is great. Not only is the food delicious, but the service was extremely friendly. I almost felt like I was a guest in someones home. I saw someone say that it lacked professionalism. I do think you can be professional without being too formal. If you prefer a laid-back staff who are just real with you, then this is the place youll want to eat.

We went there sat night 7/17/2010. Ordered an xl pizza with half just pep,and some junk on the other half. When it came out the pep side included a couple of HUGE puddles of grease. I asked them what this was about and they said it happens very often. I told them I have never had a pizza do that. My buddy that was in the food industry said its low quality cheese and pep. They gave us free breadstix at 2.50. They made us feel like this is just the way its gonna be and thats that. I think other people have discovered this nasty pizza because at 7:30 on sat night 3 tables had people at them including us. May not be long before the doors close here too. Slice of ny was really good. We will never go back, and would highly not recomend this place to anyone. I wish I had taken a picture. If they would use quality incredients this should not happen, and should never had come to the table that way. Good thing we were not official food critics for the paper. Hope they will get things fixed for the benifit of the young staff, but I will never find out.

Gotta Have It! This is the perfect pizza place! I am a pizza snob. Ive enjoyed pizza from New York to California with a greasy pit stop in Chicago. I lived in Japan for 3 years and, trust me, great sushi-horrible pizza (unless you like egg, squid, and corn toppings). What am i saying? Perfettos is Perfectos. This is what a pizza place should be. A small family run joint that has that friendly "Cheers" kind of feel to it. Ive tried most of the food here and have loved it all. The pizza, though, that is what should be the main attraction. At Perfettos the pizza is so good that my wife and I routinely order more than we can eat so we have left overs the next day. The service is fantastic. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. The price cant be beat. They could charge twice what they do and I would still show up and leave smiling!

Im from miami and moved to lousiville for the past 7 months i was looking for a pizza place new yok / italian style. (every other pizza i had ran into was deep dish) And when i ate here for the first time its like i found love at first bite haha. Also in Louisville i realized they dont have "garlic bread" what they have is garlic sticks, garlic loafs. I wanted the knots this is the only place i was able to find them. There really delicious you wont be disappointed! In conclusion, there specials and prices are extremely good!

Very Good Thin Crust Pizza This area of town is a surprising desert of locally owned pizza places. I do not enjoy the pizza made by the big franchise chains. I was very glad to find this place once it had reopened after remodeling. The pizza crust is thin and not at all greasy. I have ordered carryout a few times now and the food has been consistently good, the staff very friendly, and the restaurant is clean and inviting. I definitely recommend this place. ....................I only wish they had delivery

Waited a few months for the place to reopen, then a few more weeks to let them get their routines down before ordering a NY pie. Like all thin crust NY slices, it is fun to eat because it is so different from how we normally do pizza (everywhere but NY, that is). Other than that however, this was fine but not actually good. The pizza lacked depth of flavor-especially the sauce. I wouldnt tell anyone not to try it, but I will personally look elsewhere for my next NY style pizza.

Perfettos is by far one of my favorite places to go for lunch. If youre looking for a perfectly greasy and cheesy slice of pepperoni pie, this is just your spot. The atmosphere is accommodating (good, roomy seating) and fun. There are almost always enough people to carry a nice social hum, but usually still quiet enough that you can enjoy a conversation with your friends. If youve never been, youre missing out; otherwise, I bet I know what youre doing for lunch! ;)

I really liked the House Pizza & Stromboli. The girl up front was very friendly & great. She told me my stromboli would take a little longer to cook which was fine. I waited a total of 20 minutes. On the down side.. its an open kitchen, I could see them not using gloves while continually checking & touching my pizza/stromboli to see if it was done. I could also hear them talking about how they burnt my stromboli. I ate them anyways

Pizza was crispy thin crust, not necessarily a NY-style pizza though it is sold in slices and whole pies. Loved the pizza: the toppings were just the right amount. The spicy beer cheese was tasty as well. My rating is not a five due to the atmosphere. Liked: Food, Selection & flexibility, Pizza, Spicy Beer Cheese, employee enthusiasm Disliked: Hours, Atmosphere, Owner professionalism, website

I had 2 slices at Perfetto Pizza today. I didnt know what kind of pizza this was going to be, but to my surprise the food was great. Green Peppers and Green Olives tasted real fresh. I would definitely return. I think the man that was working was the owner, he was very friendly.

BORN & raised in Chicago... Immersed into all pizza from deep dish to thin.. This was certainly a great flavor sauce. Garlic knots and beer cheese was also good... Salad was decent but needed a homemade ranch dressing (would have given 5 stars if dressing wasnt from a bottle)

On our second visit I was amazed Dan and Cyndi remembered us and even what we ordered the first time. The food is delicious, authentic and home made. Service is warm and friendly, and a great value for the dollar. Our new favoriet for sure!

This is what I imagine authentic pizza tastes like. It tastes like every layer is made with love. Great crust, great sauce, and so much cheese! If you never had it you gotta try it! Best kept secret in town.

Small awesome little spot with great food and awesome service! Owner is very friendly and attentive, even on days where shes running the place alone. Garlic knots with beer cheese spread are a must!
