The owner is a complete jerk !!. I have ordered food her for years just because I play bingo next door . He treats me like crap and I am sure I am not the only one. I have heard him berate his wife and his son multiple times. I will never under any circumstances eat here again after tonight. I told him and brought back the food that he gave me the wrong order . I ordered house special fried rice they gave me gen tao chicken. He called me a liar . I asked him where did I get the gen tao chicken if my husband didnt buy it from him in his container... he said my husband wasnt in there tonight.. yes he was. We threw it in the garbage and decided not to eat there again... last time I got sick from their house special noodles I asked my husband not to eat there again but no we had to go back. No more ever again. I am done there are better places to eat in the East End

Ive been going to Red Sun for my Chinese food for years. I had a craving, so I visited again today. The restaurant is a small, simply-furnished and decorated, family-run place. The folks who run it are nice and efficient. I like them. Today I ordered my usual...chicken fried rice, cashew nut chicken, and egg rolls. Of course, I was given two fortune cookies with my order. My order was ready in about 8-10 minutes. It was freshly prepared, hot and tasty, as it always is. The food is now served in styrofoam containers instead of the traditional little wire-handled cardboard containers. This was the only difference in all the years I have been going to Red Sun. Im always satisfied with my food, the service, and the people or I wouldnt keep going back. I plan to continues going to Red Sun and recommend it to anyone who wants good Chinese food.

Are we all talking about the same place?! I moved to the area a few months ago and have since eaten this establishments food several times. I cant speak to their delivery service since Ive called in for carryout each time, but the food has been really good and the wait hasnt been bad at all. So far I havent had an incorrect order. Its true that not everyone there is a native English speaker, but I find that to be the case at a lot of these places and obviously so far it hasnt kept me from getting what I wanted. To sum it up, their pork fried rice is on point, their bourbon chicken is dope, and prices are reasonable. Idk, go pick it up, I guess.

Ordered $14 worth of food, and the man with a smug attitude taking my order told me the minimum amount for delivery had to be $15. Fine, apparently that extra buck was a big deal to them. So to appease the tightwads, I added an extra egg roll to my order. Then he put me on hold for several minutes. When he returned he had the audacity to tell me the minimum delivery fee was now $20, not $15 anymore. Are you effn kidding me?! I promptly hung up the phone and called a pizza place instead that delivered me a pie that cost me less than 10 bucks... gave the driver a $5 tip, too. The nerve of these cheapskates! I hope they go out of business.

The owner and man that answered the phone were so rude. The food was cold after waiting over an hour and was told by a man that varily spoke English their food was never bad or cold and that we were crazy.. Also it was so runny/ They deliver but had I not had surgery I would have went up there and told them my self..I could have picked it up 6 times as I lived 10 minutes from their business. I had to order 15.00 and it was 14 and they forced me to order another thing I didnt want and I told them it was just for me.. They wouldnt brng me more food or money back. Do NOT go back there....

We got delivery. The guy repeated our ordered back to us twice. Our order was supposed to have two egg rolls that did not come. There was also no receipt with the food. When I called, the guy got very upset and told me I never ordered egg rolls but they would bring them to me for $2 and some change. I told him that was fine he could keep his 2 egg rolls but we wouldnt order from them anymore. He was fine with that idea. This seems like a poor way to run a business.

I order from here often. Really great crab rangoon, by far the best Ive had from a comparable Chinese restaurant. My order is always accurate, the same gentleman is usually working the phone and register and he is quite nice. They even give free sweet tea with larger orders. If you want Classic American-Chinese food at this price, Red Sun will not disappoint.

I called Red Sun to ask about their orange chicken and they were very helpful. We ended up ordering the wrong chicken online, the guy called me back and asked if we had called earlier about the different types and i said yes. He then asked if I wanted the orange instead. I felt very greatful he remember what I wanted and made sure I got what I wanted.

I cannot speak to the food, as the customer service was so awful I did not get that far. After placing an entire order via the phone, the guy I had been speaking with put a second guy on the phone who increased the minimum amount of money to spend for delivery and then HUNG UP ON ME!! I will not try to order from them again. Bad customer service.

Ordered here Multiple times for Delivery, I only live a mile away and every time I order it takes an hour and a half to make it to my house. I work in the service industry and totally understand that things can happen but every time? When I call some guy just tells me hes busy and hangs up. the food is good when it eventually gets here

The food was ok and the service was very very poor. The first time I went there the dude seemed very irritated for some reason... I thought maybe he was having a bad day so I overlooked his ways. Tried it a second time and everyone there had noticed I walked in. No one greeted me at all Very rude! I will be taking my service elsewhere.

dropped off the completely wrong order, went to call about it (older guy) picked up said something in a different language and hung up on me. I called back and ask for my order and of course he caught attitude hung up on me again, wont give me a refund and didnt come out to give me what I ordered and now they wont pick up now

Absolutely disgusting food they got my order wrong I called and try to get the order placed and he wanted me to Bring back chicken when I got back in town after four days to verify. He was very rude on phone and the food got me sick. I am in healthcare and I understand food poisoning. This place is unsanitary.

The man was the most rude person I have ever talked to in my life. He hung up on me 3 times before I even got to finish my order. We waited an hour before the food was delivered. The food was good but I will never be back because of the way I was treated.
