Not that great, but Ive seen worse. We had a Derby Roll, Devil Roll (special), Katsu(pork), chicken and rice with house salads which are sold separately here compared to a lot of other places. The rolls were mostly good other than a little Butane taste from the torch. The Devil roll was awesome! The salad I had had a few bad leaves I pulled out. The pork was really dry and sad. The chicken was okay though. The tea was so sour my wife gave up on hers. I just forced it down since I was parched from pork jerky. We were the only ones in there when we came in on Saturday evening. Service was awkward, but nice. There are groupons and discounts often here and that kind of helps a little for what you get. It can be hit or miss.

TO-GO meal I did not try the sushi, but the chicken teriyaki entree was not what I expected at all. The teriyaki sauce was thick and it looked like they had just smothered it on only the top part of the chicken. The chicken was dry. I had asked for yum yum sauce and was 1/4 full in the plastic Togo sauce cup when given to me. I am only writing this review because I have tried these dishes at other Japanese restaurants and it has never been this way. The mushroom soup was not that good either. I understand the sushi may be great, but they need to step up on the entrees as well.

I went for the Monday BOGO deal to try it out. I ordered the fried salmon, cream cheese, and avocado roll. The batter on the outside was super thick and tasted like a bad fish fry. The temperature of the fryer must have been off because the rice soaked up so much grease that Im still queasy thinking about it. Worst sushi Ive ever had. The only good thing is you can get 2 rolls for the price of 1 on Mondays and Tuesdays. Maybe a regular roll would be good, but Ill never know, because Ill never risk going back...

The food was good, but the service suffered as there was a large group with took most of the attention of the one server on a Saturday noon-time. The Japanese visitors behind me seemed to enjoy the sushi. I had a bento box lunch which was tasty, but $20. I never did get my drink. Try to go there when there isnt a large group, else you will probably suffer the same poor service.

Wasnt horrible but wasnt great. Came at dinner and got two rolls. Everything was fresh and really pretty but portions were a bit small. $30 is a lot to spend to leave kinda hungry. I am willing to come by again at a busier time to see if things live up to the other reviews!

Gotta come here on 2 for 1 sushi days. Paying around 14 dollars for 2 delicious sushi rolls is a great dinner in my opinion. in the heart of downtown so its not super convenient to drive in here and park unless youre already downtown.

Bento box was perfect for me, many flavorful elements served in a large rectangular plate. Sushi rolls, sashimi, tempura, dumplings, teriyaki veggies and chicken, all prepared to perfection. Yummy!

Terrible service, extremely over priced, and just over all nasty food. Save your money and go to bardstown rd or southern Indiana for better sushi.
