I dun even want to give any start here, the most horrible restaurant Ive ever been to. I order beef noodle soup, but it came with some other noodle soup with $1 extra. First I thought every restaurant made beef noodle soup different. But she didnt tell me they no longer serve beef noodle soup so just substituted for me. WTF. Was the food worth $13? NO, I can made better noodle soup then them. Was the service worth $13? What service? While I was done with my soup and went to counter asking for check, she was on the phone call, personal phone call. Plus the wrong order. It just a horrible restaurant.

I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. I placed a carry out and asked for a few changes on what I ordered. Not only did not get what I asked for, when I called to inform them, the management was nasty and belligerent with me. The food was awful, and to add insult to injury, when I called to tell them the order was wrong, she was very unfriendly and hung up on me twice. She was so rude, and it shows in the quality of the food. WASTE OF MONEY, and HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at hikes lane empress of china. WORST SERVICE from manager!

When you first walk into this place you get the bar and waiting area with has a comfortable feel. A few couches and a table with stuff to with is nice if you are having a to go order. You are also hit with the smell of good food. I got the crispy fish with special sauce my first to go order and it was great..I know already Im going to be having many alunch and dinners here

The place is called Chamling Kitchen & Bar now, but for some reason, they are not listed on Yelp or Google Maps. The service is beyond awkward and the buffet was disgusting. They didnt have steamed rice, only fried rice. The chicken wings were dried husks and the curry tasted like dirt. I know what curry taste like and that was not it. Save yourself the frustration.

Its our favorite Chinese restaurant in Louisville. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is quiet, the food is delicious! Only downside is no buffet for dinner; only lunch on weekdays. We took a friend, who is ethnic Chinese, to the Empress and he said their pigs intestines were Wonderful! I even tasted them, not my favorite, but good tasting!

This used to be my favorite buffet in town. But now it seems to have changed owners. The food is terrible. All of it so over cooked, dry, and tasteless. Very disappointing. I used to look forward to eating lunch here. I guess its time to move on

The buffet was terrible. It goes on till 2, but its all stale by 1. Nothing new was being brought out at all. Mediocre. Will never go back. They dont care if you dont like it. Made no offer to refresh anything or offer refund.
