This place is sub par. If you think this place is good, you need to go to Kansai. They are a stones throw away from Ginza, between Walmart and Feeders Supply. Once you have visited Kansai a few times, you will see why it is my opinion that Ginza is disgusting. Every time I give this place another try, I get the same result. The chef puts so much salt all over everything that they might as well just put a pile of it on my plate and give me a spoon. Its unhealthy and it makes everything taste like salt. I didnt order salt; I ordered Fillet Mignon. I dont want salt fried rice, I dont want salt fried vegetables, I dont want salt marinated steak. I just want it done right, like its done as Kansai. All of you people attending Ginza are doing me a great favor by not crowding the better Japanese restaurant in E-Town, so thank you. But anyone with a brain is going to join me at Kansai. I am totally disgusted with Ginza and Im not giving them anymore chances, no matter what kind of discount they give me for serving the military.

This is the review of just the sushi bar, NOT Hibachi. This place was terrible. I ordered the chirashi and my wife ordered two moderately priced rolls. The chirashi was, um, horrendous. It was a few pieces of standard sushi on horribly cooked rice. Usually, the rice is seasoned. Few restaurants know that it is the rice that makes the sushi. My wifes sushi was plain garbage. It looked very nice but I couldnt eat more than one piece. The service was also subpar. We saw our waiter two times. The first time, we waited for ten minutes to get a menu, and the second time was to get the check. I actually had to go look for the waiter to get the check. No water refills, no nothing. Our sushi was ready and sitting on top of the bar for an inordinate amount of time. The sushi chef guy kept ringing the bell for the waiter to pick it up and give it to our table but he wouldnt come. Who knows what he was doing. Dont come here.

We have been there on several occasions. It takes what seems like forever for them to get to your table, reason for this i think they only have 2 chefs at least that is all i have ever seen they have 7 grills for two chefs to take care of. So if they are busy you can be waiting for over an hour for the chef to get to your table. Overall the food is wonderful. About 1 month ago we went and we sat there for 1 hour + waiting for the chef my family was the only at this grill which is four of us, the chef rushed, had no personality, the food was not seasoned really good, i feel like as long as you have more then 4 people at the grill you will have a wonderful time. But if you are a small group you will be rushed and it will not be very good at all. Refills are limited when it comes to drinks. U dont get but maybe one refill the whole time you are there.

I really like what theyve done with the place, the food is good, but it shouldnt take an hour to get a few rolls of sushi out, especially on a slow night! I wish I could say this was the only time this has happened. We were here a couple weeks ago for lunch and same thing. Took an hour to get the rolls we ordered. By the time we got them, we had already started on our meals. It was the same sushi chef both times. Both times there was no order to how he was making the rolls and people who had obviously ordered rolls after us were getting rolls before us. The waiter told us that he was grumpy and he couldnt be pushed to go any faster. If youre coming to eat sushi with your food or just want sushi, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

My absolute favorite restaurant. Some of the best sushi Ive had, and fantastic hibachi. Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Rolls range from a couple dollars each to the teens for some of the more elaborate ones, but theyre all fantastic. They tease in the main room with a running slideshow of some of their most popular rolls, and the tantalizing smell from the hibachi permeates the whole restaurant. If you go, try the cucumber salad. You wont regret it. So simple, yet possibly the most delicious thing on that menu. The dressing is so good Ill sometimes keep the extra and dip the decorative daikon that will come with some of the rolls in it.

Ive been coming here for years and went tonight for supper after not coming for several months. It has definitely gone down hill, which is unfortunate because I dont go out to eat often and it was $50 for just my husband and I. It took 5 minutes for the hostess to acknowledge us, and they werent even crowded. There were only 2 chefs, and they were rushing. None of the food got to cook long enough, the rice was lacking flavor, vegetables didnt have time to get soft, and the steak was tough. Only got one refill the hour we were there. Wont be coming back anymore.

We moved to E-town almost 1 year ago and have visited Ginza many times and have ordered take out many times. Our first experience there was A1 top notch, but since then, we have noticed that the cashier is very unpleasant and if you ask for anything out of her normal routine, it makes her very nasty. When we pick up to go orders and ask for something extra (salad dressing in particular) she acts as if we are asking her for something out of this world and then she only gives you a tiny bit. The chefs and most waitresses are great.

My favorite restaurant! Food is great! Love the sushi, fried rice, bingo box, and many more items. The waitresses are excellent consistently. I know because Im there on average about once a week but sometimes a little more frequent. The only bad thing is they are to expensive and care to much about bringing in the money. On one occasion they mistakingly made the wrong and much more expensive sushi and expected me to pay for it and I did. I wasnt happy but everything else has always been so good everytime that Im still a regular.

Im going to be honest with this one here. Not really sure how this place has 4 stars. The entrance to the restaurant is not clearly marked and when you walk up to the building its hard enough just finding the proper door. The wait staff was unkempt and not at all professional looking. The food was okay, but dont expect anything near authentic Japanese. A little salt could go a long way. Soy sauce is a band-aid.

I love this place! My boyfriend and I eat here almost every other week. The hibachi is amazing and so much fun to watch, or if you call in for take out it doesnt take more than 20 minutes usually. The sushi bar has become like a second dinner table to us and we have never had a bad experience. You have to eat here and if you like sushi I recommend sitting at the bar, the chef is an amazing person!
