Ill agree that the gastropub concept seemed a little far-fetched for this place up until recently, but the menu had some interesting items to choose from and the food quality was hitting well. I can appreciate the need and demand for the reversion to a neighborhood style bar, but frankly the food quality has gone downhill drastically. Ive come back 3 times since they went back to the neighborhood tavern concept, and it just keeps sliding. Just had a cheeseburger with fries in an effort to give them the benefit of the doubt and pick something basic and easy to win. And while I hate fast food, this felt like it had less inspiration. Zero effort on the burger and fries tasted like warm cardboard, Sysco/GFS truck style. I really like the vibe here and the beer list is decent for Louisville standards. Service was great at the bar, friendly and efficient, but the food just undercuts everything. If youre looking to watch a game and grab a beer this place is just fine. If youre looking for a quality meal, look elsewhere.

I am a regular there but no anymore, I paid my bill with cash, the waitress asked if I needed change I said yes and she brought me my change. I was with a group of friends and family, and left before them, on my way out I handed the waitress her tip and left. The waitress then went to my table and told the party I was with that I didnt pay my bill and she was only given enough money for a tip. I was furious, the people I was with told her they saw me pay my bill. I tried to call and talk to the owner multiple times but she is NEVER there. Im not sure if the waitress lost the money or was trying to make some extra. WONT GO BACK!!!

Terrible customer service. I had a full cup of ranch dressing spilled all over my business suit, shoes, shirt and tie. All of it had to be dry cleaned (excluding the shoes), which cost me over $20. The staff basically acted as if nothing happened. I asked for some sort of compensation (drinks, food, whatever) and was told no. I will never return to this establishment and encourage everyone to pass if youre considering to give it a try. Absolutely terrible customer service....

They catered for my companys private event. It was absolutely amazing food, and amazing service. They take southern comfort food the the next level, and the presentation of the food was beautiful and classy. Asia and Chris are two of the coolest and most down-to-Earth owners, they are so easy to talk to and they are very knowledgeable about their food and the business. They love what they do and you can taste it in their delicious food!

Family friendly, delicious pub food, and great variety. It is a regular place for us, and we always leave full full belly and big smiles. Occasionally service is spotty but the new owner does a great job of roaming and checking on diners. Do not miss DUNDEE DIP!!!

Worst service in the city, owners daughter and current boyfriend were treating customers like crap, a shame since the food and Bourbon selection are good, not be back in 3 yrs due to service and live in the neighborhood, thank god cafe Lou Lou opened

Went there with extended fam while in town. Blackened tuna mixed greens salad was AMAZING. Tasted one of my aunts onion rings and Im glad I didnt order them....because I could nom nom 2 orders. Great food, great service...Ill be back.

I am vegetarian. Theres not a lot on the menu that is meatless. I asked for something specially made (a macaroni and cheese grilled cheese) and they were happy to accommodate. And it was delicious!

Go for the sports, there are tvs everywhere you wont miss a second of any sport play, the wondering people there will make sure if that. Extremely wonderful people, staff and patrons
